Charles saw many dogs gets adopted this past week which left him wondering when he will get his adoption day. Charles is a young cat (around 4 months old) that is already neutered. This cute little cat was is very chill and seemed to enjoy taking his photos (which is very rare for a cat at the shelter). Winston wants you to know that even though he's a senior dog he still have lots of life left in him. Winston is an adorable senior Chihuahua mix that's approximately 10 years old. Winston would make a great pet for a senior as he is very calm and loves sitting and taking naps on peoples laps. Football season is right around the corner and Sinor is ready to play. After having his spa day today he feels refreshed and ready to hit the field. Sinor is a 4-5 year old mixed breed that definitely coming out of his shy shell and showing his super friendly personality. I know ALOT of people are looking for puppies but please give this boy a chance. Sinor is friendly, loves going for walks, and all around a sweet boy. Sinor is neutered, and up to date on all of his vaccinations and his adoption fee was sponsored. We just need to find him a great home. So please come by and make him part of your team. You will feel like a champ after scoring this great companion.

Woofstock is just a few weeks away and we are super excited for this years event. We will have live music from Logan Soileau Music and OMG H-Town that will have you wanting to dance. We had over 50 vendors sign up for this years event! Come get some early Christmas shopping done, eat some great Street Tacos or BBQ or maybe have a custom ice cream from our food vendors. We have multiple animal shelters and dog rescues joining us as well. So get your family together and come hang with us September 27th from 2-7pm at Dow Park. You might just go home with a new best friend!

Meet Lafufu and Labubu the 4 month old Wire haired terrier/Pomeranian mixes that are now available for adoption. You cant put these two on key chain but you will definitely want to take them everywhere with you. Labubu is a boy and Lafufu is a girl. Meet SINOR the cute little "RAY" of sunshine at our shelter that is now available for adoption. Sinor was lost and was found laying under a trailer. Sinor was scared at first but allowed us to put him on a leash and bring him to the shelter. Over the last couple of weeks we have been working with Sinor and he has really opened up and shown us his happy side. From the moment we arrive in the morning Sinor is there waiting for us will his tail wagging full speed. He loves playing out in our yard and walks good on a leash. Sinor is neutered, has a rabies vaccination, has had his first set of vaccinations too. If you'd like to meet him please swing by the shelter today. 🦜✨ Meet our surprise songbird! This gorgeous Orange-winged Amazon Parrot was found flying around Deer Park, but sadly, no one came to claim it. As much as we love hearing its cheerful tunes at the shelter, it’s time to find the perfect forever home.

💚 These parrots can live up to 50–80 years, so this is truly a lifelong commitment. We don’t know its age or s*x, but we do know it deserves someone with parrot experience who can give it the care, enrichment, and love it needs for decades to come.

⚠️ If you’re unfamiliar with caring for this type of parrot, you will not be approved for adoption. Adoption fee: $50.
