We may have gone a little overboard trying to make a viral video for Woofstock. 😂
There were TikTok trends.
There was dancing.
There was a very questionable performance by the Barkstreet Boys. 🎤🐶
But after all that, we realized something…
We really don’t need a viral video. We just need to tell people there are DOGS. 🐶❤️

And not just any dogs — amazing dogs looking for their forever homes. 🏡🐾

Yesterday marked the first day of school, but these cool cats are still dreaming of summer snooze-fests and sunny windowsill naps. Safe to say... they aren't feline the early morning alarms! 😴⏰

Milo has already survived the hardest chapter of his life. Now we're hoping someone will help him write the happiest one.

When Milo first came to us, it was clear that life had not been kind to him. He had been neglected for far too long, and the condition he was in told a story no dog should ever have to live. Despite everything he had been through, Milo never gave up. When we were able to pull him from that horrible situation we knew we had to make sure we changed his life story.

Over the past several weeks, our staff has showered him with love, patience, good meals, medical care, and the kindness he should have known all along. Just look at him now—he's beginning to shine again. Not because he's finally healthy, but because he finally knows what it feels like to be cared for.

Milo is a senior mixed-breed dog, and while he may have a little gray on his face, his heart is overflowing with love to give. He doesn't need a mansion or a perfect life. He simply needs someone who will let him spend his golden years knowing he is safe, wanted, and loved. Every dog deserves a happy life. Milo has waited his whole life for his. Could you be the person who gives this sweet old boy the forever home he's always deserved?

UPDATE: ALL 3 CATS HAVE BEEN ADOPTED

This beautiful momma cat and her kittens are now available for adoption at the Deer Park Animal Shelter and Adoption Center. Momma gave birth to her two kittens on May 31st of this year. Tomorrow is their 2 month birthday which means they are now available for adoption. Our cute black and white kitten is a male and he is names Socks due to his adorable white paws. Spots is the name of the female kitten. If you are interested in any of the three please give us a call at 281-478-7274.

We believe Marshall has the cutest smile and smirks at the shelter. This sweet 2 year old Schnauzer has all the charm and is ready to be adopted. Marshall is great dog and lot's of people who have came by the shelter have already fell in love with him. Today is the day! Marshall is now available for adoption to a forever home. UPDATE: BENJI HAS BEEN ADOPTED

Meet Benji the cutest little Lhasa Apso mix pup. Benji was found and brought into our shelter but was never claimed. His holding time is now up and he is ready to be adopted. Benji is super cute and would look great with a little grooming and love. We believe Benji is approximately 2-3 years old. If you're interested in Benji please swing by the shelter in person. Adoptions cannot be done over the phone. Please help us share Benji's post so we can find him a great forever home.
