Swipe to see how the bedroom project is going and how it’s evolved! This is a personal project for my own home, but I am all too familiar with the evolving design process and coming back to make revisions! That is why when we work together I always factor in the time for revisions and possible changes. Side note: the reason for my revisions? The other person who sleeps in this room doesn’t agree with me 100% of the time. I can’t believe he isn’t fully trusting his designer wife! 😂😂

Recent project: our own primary bedroom! We have some existing solid wood furniture to work with, but we need to paint and get new drapery, and one new dresser. And the biggest task will be dealing with the textured ceiling… such a pain! But we are excited to give it a facelift. After this we move on to updating the kids bathroom!

Happy client reviews are like an early Christmas gift! Wrapped up this project the other day, only a few more until holiday break! This project was a great reminder that starting with the basics in 3D is sometimes necessary to determine the direction/next steps. Colored and realistic renderings are great when that time comes, but until those final details are solid you need some good black and white 3D drawings!
