She had the longest nails we have ever seen. We trimmed them up but wanted to share just how long nails can get if they are not trimmed regularly.

We often prioritize caring for people and pets, neglecting our own self-care. This served as a reminder to our team members that they are valued and we need them to approach each day with mental clarity and positivity. We are so thankful for each and everyone of them.

We love veterinary externs coming into learn from us. This week we were able to let our extern remove a feline nasopharyngeal polyp. These happen most frequently in kittens and cause severe congestion. Thanks to our extern, Ben, this little kitty is already feeling much better!

At first glance this tooth looks perfectly healthy—its enamel smooth, the gumline intact, and no visible signs of decay.

However, beneath this seemingly normal surface lies a hidden issue.

Through routine dental X-rays, a dark shadow appears around the tip of the tooth’s root, indicating potential bone loss—a hallmark of an infection. Probing around the gumline reveals an area with increased pocket depth, a sign of periodontal disease and abscess formation.

This case highlights the importance of thorough dental examinations, as infections can silently progress beneath the surface without visible symptoms, potentially leading to severe complications if left untreated.

One of our clients is looking to help her foster dog find his furever home. He's about 2 months old and looks like he may be a Shepherd mix. Our client has had him since he was about 3-4 weeks old and he's very socialized both with dogs and people! We would love to find this sweet boy a wonderful, caring home.
