Though I am profoundly allergic and not a cat rescue, I couldn't in good conscious not take action when I learned about these tiny kittens and their momma eating birdseed to stay alive. With a long, severe winter bearing down on us, and the cat rescues over-flowing, I took matter into my own hands and set humane traps immediately. It took a few days, but this young feral female and her two surviving five week old kittens are safe, warm and cozy this morning in my home. Over the next few months, I will work on taming them all so that they can find loving indoor homes. They will be vetted, vaccinated, wormed, and spayed or neutered. Inquiries on adoptions welcomed! We caught another trap-shy dog recently. This poor dog had been out almost two months with no one able to get near her. Some days she would travel 30 miles or more. The urgency to capture her went up when we noticed she had gotten porcupine quills in her face, and of course with hunting season fast approaching. Here she is eating at our feeding station a day before we were able to capture her in our beautiful dog kennel trap, video is the comments

We are thrilled to announce that "Lucy", the husky we rescued has found "her people"! The perfect family was found for Lucy, and it was like she has lived there her whole life. She and their other rescued husky began bonding immediately . It was love at first sight! We are so happy for Lucy, because in our world, nothing feels better than doing something wonderful for a dog

This poor kitty had wandered an area with a steel jaw trap clamped to its foot - the trap, along with the kitties foot came off. Notice the front right foot is gone :( We were able to quickly catch this poor kitty in a humane trap and deliver it to the rescue group who took it for veterinary care and made sure that he would still have a good life

After capturing the sheep, I successfully captured a wayward pig who was destroying someones lawn with its rooting. Now I am moving on to the next mystery capture ;) Both the sheep and the pig are already in new responsible, loving homes. Who will it be this time? On the left is a picture of my trap all set up(taken last year at this time) , and on the right is a photo of what a pig can do to your lawn in short order 😧 🐖🐑
