✨ Big News from Our Program ✨
We are excited to finally share that we are creating a website — coming soon!
Along with this next step, we are officially changing our program name from
Golden Bundles ➝ Sporting Ridge K9’s 🐾
This change reflects how our program has grown and where our hearts and focus now live.
How It All Started
Our breeding program began with one Golden Retriever, rooted in the desire to raise dogs with steady temperaments, emotional intuition, and strong family connection. As our family grew, so did our vision.
When our twin sons, Ethan and Ashton, developed a deep passion for Labrador Retrievers, obedience training, duck hunting, and competition, our program naturally expanded to include field-bred Labradors.
Over time, it became clear that each breed deserved its own intentional focus — and Sporting Ridge K9’s was born.
A Family-Based Program With Purpose
To stay intentional and never stretch ourselves thin, we’ve made a few important changes:
🤍 Golden Retrievers
Our Goldens will continue through a guardianship-based program with the support of our family, Lorene and Cory, who are partnering with us to raise our Goldens in calm, enriched home environments that support their therapy-focused temperaments. Lorene and Cory bring valuable experience in raising Golden Retriever puppies, having helped with our program in the past.
🦆 Labrador Retrievers
We are focusing on mentoring Ethan and Ashton (15) as they work hands-on with their Labradors — daily care, training, obedience, hunting, and competition.
They are excited to providing Labrador puppies of their own with their Labs Bailey, Olive, and Lola (their newest addition from Raven’s last litter) while we focus on guiding, supporting, and helping them build a strong, ethical foundation for their program.
This structure allows every dog to receive the time, intention, and purpose they deserve, while keeping our program family-centered.
We are incredibly grateful for your continued support and can’t wait to share more as Sporting Ridge K9’s continues to grow.
