Halloween Is Almost Here! Spooky Season Safety Tips! 👻🐶

Halloween is tomorrow, and while we’re excited for costumes, candy, and cute pup photos, let’s make sure our furry friends have a safe and happy holiday! 💙

🐾 A few tricks to keep your treats safe:
🍬 Keep candy out of reach! Chocolate and xylitol (found in some sugar-free treats) can be dangerous for dogs.
🎭 Check those costumes! Make sure your pup can breathe, see, walk, and wag comfortably. Skip anything too tight or with small pieces they could chew off.
🚪 Watch the door! Trick-or-treaters coming and going can be stressful, especially for anxious pups. Give them a cozy, quiet spot away from the excitement.
🦮 Be visible! If you're taking your dog out after dark, use reflective gear or a light-up collar so everyone can see them.

And of course, don’t forget the most important Halloween accessory: a freshly groomed, photo-ready pup!

🐶💡 Did You Know?

Did you know that dogs can have different coat types even within the same breed? 🤯 Some pups have a single coat, while others have a double coat with a soft undercoat that helps regulate their temperature!

That’s why grooming isn’t one-size-fits-all! From deshedding treatments to haircuts and baths, your pup’s coat type helps determine what kind of care they need.

Not sure what’s best for your furry friend? We’re happy to help keep their coat looking and feeling its best! 💙

🐾 Your pet can’t tell you when something feels off, but they can show you.

Learning to recognize changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and appearance can help you notice when your furry friend may need extra attention. 💙🐶

We need to pay close attention to our pet's behavior and body language to recognize when they're not feeling well.

💡 Did You Know?

Regular grooming can help you spot changes on your pup’s skin and coat early 👀✨

During a groom, we’re up close and personal, which means we may notice things like new lumps, bumps, irritated skin, or unusual changes that might otherwise be hidden under all that fluff!
Grooming isn’t just about looking good. It’s also a great opportunity to keep an eye on your pup from nose to tail. 🐾
