🐾 Weekly Adoption Update! 🐾

We ended the month of May strong with an incredible 22 adoptions! 🎉

🐱 13 Cats Adopted:
Aslan, Bath Mat, Chumpo, Damien, Holland, Peatrice, Pepper, Plunger, Quinn, Salt, Sweety Pie, Toulouse, and Turbo

🐶 9 Dogs Adopted:
Frontier, Grog, Jenga, Kesha, Marvin, Missy Elliot, Porkchop, Springy, and Summer

Every adoption represents a life changed and a family made complete. We are so grateful to everyone who chose adoption, shared our posts, volunteered, donated, or supported our shelter friends throughout the month. Your support makes these success stories possible.

As we turn the page to June, we're excited to celebrate a special milestone—20 years in our current shelter building! 🥳 To honor this anniversary and help even more animals find loving homes, all adoption fees will be just $20 throughout the month of June.

If you've been thinking about adding a furry family member, now is the perfect time to visit and meet your new best friend. We can't wait to see how many more lives we can change together this month!

Meet Opal! 💎🐾

This sweet girl came to the shelter as a stray on 4/6, scared, skinny, and unsure of the world around her. While shelter life has been a big adjustment, Opal has been making wonderful progress and is slowly learning that people can be kind.

She is still building her confidence, but she has really started to open up to shelter staff and volunteers. Opal would love a patient family willing to continue helping her grow and learn to trust. Watching her personality emerge has been so rewarding!

One of our favorite things is catching her with her ears up—she is absolutely adorable and has the most beautiful eyes. 💕

As you can see, Opal loves spending time outside. She enjoys running the fence with the other pups, exploring the yard, and she walks well on a leash. With a little patience, love, and understanding, we know this girl will blossom into a wonderful companion.

Meet Springy! 🌸 This adorable little pup is estimated to be around 14 weeks old, weighs in at just 13 pounds, and is searching for her forever family! 🐶💕

What breed is she, you ask? Your guess is as good as ours! Beagle mix? Redbone Hound? Maybe even a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix? Whatever her DNA says, one thing is certain — Springy is a sweet, shy little girl who deserves a loving home where she can blossom and feel safe. ❤️

We may not know what her past looked like, but we know her future deserves to be bright. Could that future be with you?

Meet Ronald 🐾

Ronald came to the shelter on 5/15 as an owner surrender and is estimated to be around 2 years old. This handsome boy weighs about 10 pounds and has the softest fur you will ever pet! 💙

Ronald came in with many of his brothers and sisters, so he seems to do great with other cats and may enjoy having a feline friend in his future home. He is a very sweet, gentle boy who is ready to trade shelter life for a cozy couch and a family to love him forever.

Meet Kodak Blu 💙

This sweet boy is estimated to be about 8-10 months old and came to the shelter on 5/4. Unfortunately, he was not reclaimed by his owner, and now he is hoping to find a forever family of his own.

Kodak Blu weighs about 45 pounds and has the cutest little heart on his nose and an adorable patch over his eye that makes him impossible not to notice. 🐾

He is very treat motivated and at such a great age to learn, grow, and bond with his future family. Kodak Blu loves his kennel workers… almost as much as he loves the treats they give him! 🍪

Meet Lola 💕

Lola is estimated to be about 2 years old and came to the shelter as a stray on 4/26. A month later and she is still the sweetest little thing you ever did see.

This calm, loving girl walks nicely on a leash, loves people, and never says no to cookies 🍪 She has also met children and did great — which honestly comes as no surprise because of how gentle and sweet she is.

Lola is looking for a family that will shower her with love, attention, and plenty of treats. She is ready to trade shelter life for a cozy home and a couch to relax on with her people.

This week, 24 amazing pets found their forever homes — 14 cats and 10 dogs adopted! 🐾❤️
