☀️🐴 A Beautiful Sunday at Rush Creek Sanctuary 🫏🍉

Our beautiful sanctuary animals are soaking up a peaceful Sunday, enjoying time with our wonderful neighbors, plenty of fresh water, and of course… watermelon! 🍉💚

These quiet moments are such a beautiful reminder of what sanctuary means: safety, love, friendship, and simply getting to enjoy life.

💜🐴 A Little Update from Rush Creek Sanctuary 🐴💜

We want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all the love, prayers, messages, and support you have shown our Rush Creek family while Karen continues recovering in the hospital.

A very special THANK YOU to Jennifer, one of our wonderful friends, volunteers, and truly part of our Rush Creek family, for spending time at the sanctuary this weekend and helping take care of all our precious babies. We are so grateful for you! ❤️

And, of course, Samson had to make sure Jennifer stayed on her toes! 😂🐴

Samson is one of the sweetest and smartest horses you will ever meet. This boy knows how to open doors, lift garage doors, undo latches, and generally figure out anything standing between him and where he thinks he needs to be! Apparently, Samson decided to demonstrate his talents again this weekend, and Miss Jennifer caught him in the act. 😂

After everything Samson has been through in his life, seeing his personality, intelligence, and curiosity shine makes us love him even more. He knows he is safe. He knows he is loved. And apparently, he also knows how doors work. ❤️🐴

Thank you, Jennifer, for loving our babies like they are your own and for being there when our Rush Creek family needs you most.

And thank you to EVERYONE who continues to surround Karen, our animals, and our sanctuary with so much love and support. It means more than we could ever put into words.
