We are honored to announce our partnership with the National Livestock Professionals Association and the HS to help rescue starved, abused, and neglected animals. These investigators work tirelessly, day and night, to save lives that would otherwise be forgotten.
Rush Creek Sanctuary is also teaming up with our fellow sanctuary associate, Shishana Barnhill, to acquire, quarantine, and rehabilitate suffering animals in need. She is the best in the business and has incredible passion for them.
We are committed to stepping in before it’s too late.
Our process is
These animals will be transported (with the help of volunteers) starting this week They all have had full medical check-ups, all vaccines, bloodwork, and are cleared with added supplements.
While in quarantine for 3 weeks they have gained an average of 35 pounds per horse!
The 15 horses Rush Creek Sanctuary will be sheltering and putting up for adoption are all ages and gender, and all are friendly, calm, and sweet. One is a stunning Belgian stallion!
All of These horses will be up for adoption!
Later this week, we will be posting individual information packets (with pictures) on each horse.
We will be having an open adoption at the Sanctuary starting at 10am each day the weekend oof January 31 and February 1.
Let’s find all of these rescues a home on day 1!
If you have already spoken to a team member about adopting one of these magnificent horses, text us for an adoption application at: 817-822-9116.
Once your application is reviewed, we can arrange for you to see these horses!
Please open your home and heart to one of these loving babies that deserve a second chance.
We cannot do this alone; and are requesting a minimum, tax deductible donation of for each adoption. 100% of this will go directly to the care of these horses .
If you can’t adopt one of these wonderful horses, please consider a donation to help us recover the costs of their rescue, or for one the much-needed items below.
We are in desperate need of supplies, funding for medical care, hay, and shelter materials. We accept anything used or new that can support their recovery:
• Senior feed
• Salt licks
• Coastal & alfalfa
• Electrolytes
• Harnesses & tack
• Joint supplements
• Round bales
• Materials for lean-tos, cover tops, hay feeders
• used or new round pen panels, and
• T post horse wire.
If just 2,000 of our followers donated $10, it would completely transform our ability to save these and other animals that require rescue from abuse and neglect.
Donation lists will be available on Amazon and Tractor Supply today. Every donation for supplies or financial support is tax deductible.
If you would like to visit our sanctuary and see the work we are doing firsthand, please reach out. We are fighting every day to give these angels the future they deserve.
Thank you for helping us save the lives of these wonderful animals!
