Happy New Year! 🥳
We are sitting down to plan our goals for 2026, and the biggest topic on the table is the renovation of our building.

​For over 10 years, I have been working toward the dream of creating the "Ultimate Dog Destination." In fact, moving the salon into this beautiful old church was the specific next step to finally make Boarding & Daycare a reality.

​We’ve done the official market research and looked at all the stats. But now, we need to hear from actual people—not just numbers.
​We are renovating this massive space penny-by-penny, and we want to make sure we are prioritizing the right things first.

​Tell us where you stand:

​1. The Immediate Need: "I struggle to find Overnight Care and would book a simple, safe stay at the 'RUFF Retreat' (Mini-Kennel) ASAP, even while renovations continue."

​2. The Future Want: "I’m waiting for the full 'RUFF Resorts' experience—including Luxury Suites and Doggy Daycare—once the renovation is complete."

​3. No Need: "I don't need boarding or daycare—you should plan a different service for the rest of the church!"

Wow! We asked for your help to fill our tree, and you guys absolutely delivered! 😭❤️
Thank you to everyone who dropped a photo in the comments. We had a blast printing them out and finding the perfect spot for every single pup. Our wall went from a little green garland to a beautiful collage of our favorite furry faces.
This tree is the perfect reminder of why we love what we do. We have the best clients (and the cutest dogs) in the world!

❄️ WEATHER ALERT: The Rover is Staying Parked Tomorrow ❄️

Well, we took a gamble on the weather, and it looks like Mother Nature called our bluff!
As many of you know, we originally planned to pause for the season starting November 1st. But after getting the hot water heater fixed, we decided to push our luck and stay open through January. We thought the nasty wind chills and ice usually held off until February or March... clearly, winter decided to show up early to the party. 🥶
Since the school buses aren't running tomorrow due to the dangerous road conditions, I probably shouldn't be out there in my bus either.

The wind chills are dangerous, and the roads are just too slick. I love grooming your pets, but I will not risk crashing the bus, damaging our equipment, or hurting anyone by driving on unsafe roads.

What happens next:
If you were scheduled for tomorrow, you are on our priority list. However, I cannot reschedule you until the roads are clear enough for me to know for sure that we can go out safely the next day. Please be patient with me while we wait for things to clear up.

We are going to try our absolute hardest to get everyone back in before Christmas, but please understand that spots are limited and the weather controls the schedule right now. We may not have the option to squeeze everyone in, but we will do our best.
Stay warm, bring your pets inside, and drive safe! 🐾

🎄 TREE UPDATE: We need more pups! 🎄
​We kicked off our holiday wall tree on Dec 1st, and thanks to you guys, we’ve got some adorable faces up there already! (Look at those smiles! 😍)
​BUT... it’s December 12th and there is still way too much green garland showing. We want this tree absolutely COVERED in RUFF clients by Christmas!
​If you haven't added your dog yet, let's get them up there! 🏃‍♂️💨
​We are doing the printing, so it’s super easy:
