GOT MY PARTY HAT ON CELEBRATING 3 YEARS OF Terri Wigginton’s Pet Services THIS WEEKEND!!!!

I honestly don’t even have the words for how thankful I am for this community. From old friends to new faces, I couldn’t do any of this without you. You’ve given me the chance to keep my kid close while finding a way to manage my chronic pain, and you’ve let me learn and grow in pet care by loving on your furry babies like they’re my own (because honestly, they feel like they are!).

You’ve healed parts of me you probably don’t even know about, and in return I’ve given this journey everything I’ve got. From missing weekends and holidays to all the tears (and there have been a lot—this work is not always easy), I just want you to know how much it means to me.

If things stayed exactly the way they are right now, I’d still be so proud of what we’ve built together. But I’m truly excited for all the memories and moments still ahead. I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve. 😉

Extreme heat warning this week! 🔥🥵🐶

Try these fun enriching ways to play inside instead:
🧊 Freeze treats in ice cube trays
🎾 Set up a hallway fetch zone
🧠 Use puzzle feeders for mental stimulation
📺 Turn on some pet TV (yes, it’s a thing-Youtube!)

Most importantly KEEP THEM INSIDE where they are safe and cool. ❤️🐾❤️

A heatwave will develop across central this week. Heat index values will rise to around 105 to 112 daily, and only fall to the mid to upper 70s overnight. An Extreme Heat Watch is in effect in West Central IL Tuesday through Thursday, and in East Central IL Wednesday through Thursday. Be sure to hydrate, avoid outdoor activities in the heat, wear lightweight and light colored clothing, and stay in air conditioning when possible, especially during the day.

In case you haven’t seen on Rover there is a little update in my calendar for next month:
