3 week old pictures! This is when they start getting so fun! Personalities are emerging and they are moving more and more everyday! They will be ready to join their forever families April 19th. We cannot wait to meet our final 3 families that will call one of these puppies their own! The puppies will be dual registered with the UKC and the English Shepherd Society. 2 weeks old!!
It has been an eventful last few days...all of the puppies have opened their eyes and are beginning to crawl around! They are determined as they wobble and explore their small, new world. Along with holding and cuddling the puppies, we have been performing desensitization on each puppy (Early Neurological Stimulation). When performed correctly, ENS is believed to impact the neurological system by kicking it into action earlier than would be normally expected, the result being an increased capacity that later will help to make the difference in its performance. ENS is time sensitive and must be performed from the 3rd to the 16th days of a puppy's life. Five benefits have been observed in canines that were exposed to ENS, including improved cardiovascular performance (heart rate); stronger heart beats; stronger adrenal glands; more tolerance to stress; and greater resistance to disease.
In tests of learning, ENS stimulated pups were more active and exploratory than their non-stimulated littermates.
We are loving interacting with each of the pups as we prepare them for their future forever families!!! We still have 3 puppies waiting for their forever families. (The 3 families who have reserved puppies are watching their personalities develop so as to find the perfect addition to their family). Please message us for more information. Bella and Molly are so excited to announce....there are puppies coming at the end of February!!!! Bella will have her hands full taking care of all the littles in the barn (baby goats, calves, etc) and also being Molly's right hand lady with the new bundles of sweetness. Molly is doing well, the excitement is growing here for sure! This breeding is a repeat of the Griffin x Molly breeding from the previous litter of puppies. (Bella is one of those puppies.) This pairing has produced smart, gentle, good with children and animals, task-driven, and excellent recall puppies. Let us know if you would like to join the wait list!
