🐾 Important Update from Baileigh’s Pet Sitting 🐾
I wanted to let everyone know about a change to my services. At this time, I will no longer be offering house visits. I truly appreciate everyone who has trusted me to care for your pets in their homes over the years.
The good news is that I will continue offering pet boarding! ❤️ I love caring for your fur babies, and I'm excited to keep providing a safe, loving, and comfortable place for them while you're away.
Thank you all for your continued support, trust, and understanding. It means so much to me, and I look forward to continuing to care for your pets through boarding services.

Keep your pets safely indoors in a quiet, air-conditioned room to protect them from terrifying firework noises and dangerous summer heat. Ensure they have constant access to fresh water, never leave them unattended in a vehicle, and double-check that their ID tags and microchips are completely up to date in case they panic and escape.

Just a reminder for all pet ppl

Heatwave precautions for dogs:
1. Never water a dog when it’s overheated, cool first, then water. This will help avoid deadly bloat.
2. Tarps provide shade, but hold heat. Put a thermometer and fans in outdoor kennels and change water several times a day.
3. Flat faced dogs need to stay inside - only out to potty and back in.
4. Touch pavement with your hand, if it burns, it burns their feet too. No walks on pavement
5. FLEA prevention and fly spray is a must for outdoor dogs and cats (maggots burrow in their fur and eat holes in their bodies fyi)
*or put your dog in the air conditioning

Because panicked dogs will try to escape, it is critical to secure your home by keeping doors, windows, and gates tightly closed, and using a leash for every single bathroom break. Inside, you can help calm your dog by creating a cozy "safe zone" in an interior room, drawing the blinds, and turning on the TV or a white noise machine to mask the booming sounds outside.Before the celebrations begin, ensure your pet wears a collar with up-to-date ID tags and verify that their microchip registry information is current. If your dog suffers from severe noise anxiety, consult your veterinarian early about calming options, or consider booking a secure stay with a professional boarding service
