Back to when our rescue started, we pulled this precious girl named Millie.

Welcome to rescue, Cora!

She ran into someone’s home through a doggy door was the story I was given. They had no idea who she belonged to. ACO was called and at no fault of her own, being terrified she bit ACO sending him to the doctor 😳 his hand was really bad. But he is doing much better.

She finished her seven day stray hold. Then we got her spayed and up-to-date on vaccines! She is doing amazing and so very sweet and loving. She literally wants to sit in our lap all of the time. We can’t wait to see her get adopted into an amazing home and never be abandoned or lost again.

Mercy, before ➡️ after 🤍

From gotcha day to her first grooming—same sweet soul, just shining brighter. She has bonded to me instantly, loves so deeply, and tonight she’s curled up on the biggest, comfiest bed with a full belly. It still amazes me how a dog who was so neglected can love so purely.

Huge thank you to Thelma Renneberg Creel! She is the sweetest lady in the world and and does a phenomenal job with grooming! Please check her out at 337-463-6464 at Thelma‘s clipping dip in DeRidder!

I am overwhelmed with gratitude for every blanket, bag of food, supply, donation—every reach-out matters. In just two days we’ve pulled 25+ dogs 😭💔🥹
I’ll keep sharing updates on this precious girl.

Dogs are being euthanized everyday across the state. We have to do better.

Veerah is a sweet girl who is scheduled to be euthanized at 7:00 AM. She needs an emergency leg amputation, spay, vaccines and preventatives before we can place her with a rescue.
We need immediate help. Any amount helps — please donate via Venmo: Thirtysix6rescue and SHARE this post so we can save her life. 🙏 I’ve nicknamed her smiley because she literally smells at anyone walking past her kennel, begging for someone to notice her and help her. 🐾

🚨 URGENT – Meet Sugar Belle 🚨

This sweet girl’s story is absolutely heartbreaking. 💔 Sugar Belle was dumped and left to fend for herself on the streets, filmed in a condition no dog should ever endure — starving, sick, and full of infection. She deserves so much better than this life of pain and neglect.

Right now, our rescue is being hit with Mayday after Mayday at the shelters. All of our fosters are already maxed out, caring for 20–40 dogs each, but I can’t turn my back on Sugar Belle. We desperately want to help her and others like her — but we cannot do it without you.

🙏 How you can help:
• Donations can be called directly into Hayes Veterinary Hospital at 📞 337-401-0761
• Or sent via Venmo:

Every single dollar makes a difference. If we’re able to raise enough, I will update everyone once I have secured her safely.

We are also in need of supplies:
🛏️ Blankets & comforters (for bedding)
🐶 Dog beds in good shape
🏠 Igloos or dog pens
🧸 Toys for dogs
🦴 Treats and chews

Please share, donate, and pray with us for Sugar Belle. Together, we can turn her story from one of suffering into one of hope. 💕
