A HUGE milestone for Dixie, a real, relaxed, happy smile!! This was yesterday, Sunday, on a golf cart ride with Mom and Dad!! She LOVES being outside with us and has learned it is super fun when she just hang out and behaves. Now to get her used to Fed Ex and UPS!!

Meet our girls ❤️ Charlotte the Golden Retriever and Dixie the Border Collie mix 🐶

Amber and Carlos adopted Charlotte as a baby puppy Christmas day, they have almost made it through the puppy stage challenge as she is 7 months old now! She is a very good girl, she has never chewed anything up in the house and with regular outside time she potty trained like a champ. She loves her coconutty treats, when it is time to kennel up she runs right in for her treat. She has learned to love her kennel time and looks at it as a pawsitive part of her life! By having Charlotte as a puppy her Mom and Dad have been in charge of her behavior, they are doing such a good job with her, she is becoming an A plus citizen!! Charlotte is just a beautiful, sweet girl and she is so excited to share her treats with all doggies!!

Then there is Dixie, she belongs to Cynthia and Jeff. In Jan. 2021, we had to lay our beloved lab, Dora (AKA Bubba Girl) to rest, she was almost 13 years old. The whole family was heart broken and the house felt so empty. So after a couple of months we decided this time we would rescue from a shelter instead of getting pure bread labs as we always had in the past. In April we found Klancy, now Dixie, at Kings Harvest. We thought she was cute, so we took her home. The only info we had on her is they thought she was 4 years old and she came from a shelter in OK that she spent a very long time at (how sad). Boy oh boy was this different than we were used to. We soon discovered she had clearly been abused at some time in her life. She had to learn touch, love and mostly trust. She had some bad habits that we had to break. Fast forward one year now. With continued training, love and pawsitive reinforcement she has come a very long way, she loves her whole family and we all love her back. We all just laugh and say "Dixie is just DIXIE"!! A little naughty in nature. Dixie LOVES all the treats but her favorite is the Soft Crunch, she will do pretty much anything for a Soft Crunch treat including Kenneling up!! She wants every doggie in the entire world to enjoy Paw-fect Dog Treats!!🐶
