This little neighborhood watch cat has been monitoring the situation from her cat tree all day 😂

🐢🐠 We weren't just hired to care for dogs and cats this weekend. This weekend's VIPs included a turtle and a betta fish and we loved every minute of it!

One of our favorite things about pet sitting is that no two days look the same. Whether your family has paws, fins, shells, or whiskers, we'll help keep everyone's routine swimming along.

Diesel was living his best life, proving that sometimes the simplest things bring the biggest smiles. 💚

Watching pets get excited over their favorite games is one of our favorite parts of pet sitting. Whether it's fetch, zoomies, or chasing a giant ball around the yard, we're always happy to join the fun!

When temperatures climb, sidewalks can heat up much faster than the air. If it feels hot to your hand, it's too hot for sensitive paws.

On extra warm days, we adjust our walks by:
🌿 Sticking to the grass whenever possible
⏰ Taking shorter walks and allowing mkre of a stroll than sniff breaks
🌳 Looking for shade to help keep pups comfortable

Your dog's safety always comes first, and sometimes that means swapping a long walk for a potty break followed by indoor playtime and extra belly rubs.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and give those paws a break this week during the heat.

Melissa’s Second Chances charges $15 per pet, with all proceeds going to rescue animal vet bills.
