Nala is one of our owner's pet that past away recently. After losing most of her teeth due to old age, you would frequently see her walking around with her tongue hanging out.

Does your dog proudly parade around the house with their favorite stuffed toy? Or greet you at the door with one in their mouth?

In many cases, carrying toys is completely normal and can mean:

🧸 They're showing off their prized possession
🧸 They're inviting you to play

Some dogs even carry toys when they're feeling a little overwhelmed or excited because it helps them channel those big emotions.

As long as they're being gentle with the toy and not showing signs of resource guarding, it's usually just another adorable way dogs communicate with us.
