Merck Animal Health is partnering with The South Dakota Cattlemen's Association! For every empty Revalor or Ralgro cartridge turned in, Merck will donate $0.25 to the cattleman's association. That money will be used by the South Dakota Cattleman's Association for things like youth scholarships.

Bring your empty Revalor or Ralgro cartridges to one of our local clinics anytime, and Merck will come collect them.

Let's help both of these organizations in their effort to make South Dakota a better place!

Call us to get scheduled to have your heifers Bangs Vaccinated! The sooner the better!

What is Bangs? - It's a bacteria that causes the disease brucellosis, and was named after Dr. Bang, who identified the bacteria.

What does the bacteria do? - Causes abortions, infertility, and weak calves, leading to major profit losses. This is a zoonotic disease, meaning it can infect humans.

What cattle need the vaccine? - Heifers between 4 and 12 months of age, before breeding. Must be given at least 3 days before breeding. This is required for cattle who will be sold or transported. Cattle that have been vaccinated are also required to have an official tattoo and an ear tag in the right ear for permanent ID.

Have More Questions? Give any of our clinics a call!
Please get scheduled with us sooner rather than later!
