We could not be more excited to announce the return of our ⭐️Puppy Immersion Program⭐️ with a brand new schedule! PIP is coming back on Sunday mornings to provide a drop-off style, small group training and socialization option for puppies under 24 weeks. The program offers an opportunity for a safe, controlled environment for your puppy to explore and learn all under the guidance of our trainer, Tiara.

With the relaunch of this new version of PIP, we are offering a limited time discount on enrollment. Until August 30th, you can enroll for $545 (a savings of $40!).

The Puppy Immersion Program: Sunday Series will meet from 9:30am to 11am for 6 weeks and is limited to 3 puppies. Over the course of the program, the puppies will have dedicated training time to build foundation skills, curated group play sessions to build dog-dog interactions, and offer unique exposure opportunities to a variety of objects, surfaces, handling, and more!

Our first PIP day begins Sunday August 10th, but enrollment can happen happen at any time! Registration includes:
🐶6 training/socialization days with time to transfer skills & information at pick-up
🐶Photo & video updates throughout the program
🐶15% off training retail (treats, treat pouch, harness, etc.) the duration of the program

Beau has been a familiar face in the training and pool room for the last year, but his first few pool sessions, he was rather timid with the water and not on board with the swimming aspect. 🌊With patience and plenty of practice, he started to see how much fun the water could be and even began floating out to his ball. Now, Beau has no issue jumping in the pool and has even launched off of the side.💪 This past weekend, he took his skills to the lake, and we received this wonderful update from his mom! 💙

The LAST session of our Drink With Your Dog Brewery Manners class starts Monday August 4th at 7pm, and we have a couple of spots left!☀️ If you’ve been thinking about signing up, now’s your chance!

This class covers all of the skills your dog needs to be a successful brewery buddy such as settling on a mat, walking through the patio, greeting people politely, and more! The class meets August 4th, 11th, and 18th at 7pm and includes a free beer each night of class.🍻 Enrollment is $100. Dogs must have prior group training experience or instructor approval. Many of you may have met Tiara Soderstrom through her work on various projects with us, including our Drink With Your Dog classes, but we are excited to officially announce that she is officially a full time member of the Animal Matters team!

Tiara was launched in to the dog world in 2010 when she began working for TailWaggers. Her passion for a career in dog training was ignited by acceptance and attendance to the Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer Professional Program in 2012. Shortly after the program concluded, she relocated to the Madison area where she taught a variety of group classes and assisted with the Dane County 4H Dog Project. She's actively pursuing further certification through the Pet Professional Guild as a Professional Canine Trainer Accredited.

Tiara's addition to the team means we will have more available appointment times and expanded group class offerings! Keep an eye out for announcements regarding upcoming classes and available weekend appointments!

We want to give a warm welcome to Bodie, Charlie, Jozey, and Nyx as they joined us for their first night of Basic Manners! We always enjoy the community that is created through our classes and this class’ community is prebuilt as all of the owners already know each other. What a fun group of dogs showing off their patio skills!🍻 We wrapped up our Drink With Your Dog brewery manners class night with Floyd, Dixie Belle, Rocky, Bayler, and Reggie, and we were so proud of all the progress each team has made!🐾 Each of team grew not only in skills but as partners, and it was clear how enjoyable the patio experience was for everyone (people and dogs!).
