Bruno has been spending time in the pool to break up his daycare day, and we are in love with how his confidence is growing!💪 He can be a little reserved with new people, but he’s quickly learned that Jenn and Tiara are safe and happy to throw the frisbee for him.💙 He’s starting to venture deeper into the water and is often asking to play tug, so we know he’s settling right into pool time.💦

We have another round of Drink With Your Dog brewery manners class beginning June 29th with a 5:30pm and a 7pm option! If you’re looking to improve your dog’s patio skills, this class is perfect to work in a real life setting building valuable behaviors. From walking on a loose leash through the patio to learning to hang out, we cover a variety of skills that help everyone have a good time!

Scout is also joining us for training sessions as a part of our Skill of the Month program! Scout’s current recall cue has a low success rate - especially when he sees something he’d like to go check out. So we will be hard at work building a positive association to coming when he hears his cue and making it worth his while to leave those distractions alone. We know he’ll catch on with how quickly we’re already seeing progress!

We are so proud of these Drink With Your Dog teams as they’ve accomplished so much these last 3 weeks!🌟 Warden, Zion, Stella, and Rocky all showed so much progress in their ability to hang out on the patio, navigate between tables on a loose leash, and build a successful greeting routine. Way to go everyone!🍻

Yesterday morning we concluded another session of Basic Manners class. Teams Otis and Finley worked hard over the weeks and showed up to the last class ready to show off some amazing skills, including some spectacular loose leash walking with distractions! We're so proud of these Teams' hard work and dedication. 🐾💪

Ernie is spending the month of June learning about all things recall! As part of our Skill of the Month program, we will be building training sessions into his daycare days at TailWaggers Doggy Daycare De Pere & Bellevue. Just two sessions and we can already see this smart guy pick up on how fun coming when called can be. We are excited to continue perfecting his recall response!

If you have a dog a little more reserved with their world, Confident Canine is a great opportunity for them to build skills to promote curiosity and trust. Whether your dog is hesitant with new people, in new environments, or with new things, we will share and practice various patterns to help acclimate your dog!

Tia has been hard at work the last few months on improving her leash skills! She is thrilled about her world and wants to get everywhere FAST! We’ve been working on providing alternative outlets for her to explore her world safely so she can slow down when walking outside of the apartment.
