Bottom line...If you adopted from Luv4k9s, your dog IS NOT affected by this....

but if your microchip is through Save This Life in Texas, you will need to register it through another company like www.24petwatch.com

After a microchip company abruptly shut down, animal shelters and related organizations have started to warn pet owners to re-register their animals with a different service.

According to a report by CBS News, Save This Life, a microchip company based out of Texas, recently ceased operations, leaving pets within their database no longer registered.

Meet Brogan, a 6 month old male toy (phantom) poodle from a backyard breeder. He is sweet as can be, smart as a whip, and I swear part mountain goat. He knows his name and is doing really well with recall. He loves to play with other dogs, no matter the size, but is a vocal player. He is potty trained (he will let you know by barking or going in circles if he has to go) and he will use a p*e pad. He is crate trained, especially with a peanut butter filled kong toy. He sleeps all night with his foster in their bed with no problem or accidents. He is not food motivated, but loves peanut butter and he gets to lick it off of our fingers after every meal (this makes it easy to give pills) and he definitely knows what the word "treat" is. He is up to date on all of his shots, neutered and microchipped
Not recommended in a home with children under 8 as he is only 4.5 lbs
