Since Mission of Mary is located on an alley that just happens to have a street name, people often have a very hard time finding us 😅 Thankfully, one of our interns has been hard at work painting us some way-finding signage this summer! Hopefully this will help hundreds of people get to us a little more easily in the coming years. Thanks for the beautiful work, Lexi, and good luck in your continued urban planning studies as you head back to school!

Their funding support helps us donate to our key partner Miami Valley Meals weekly with fresh health produce we grow on our urban farm in the Twin Towers neighborhood of Dayton!

We love seeing our partnership with the University of Dayton Hanley Sustainability Institute in action! 🌱🙌 These students brought such thoughtful energy to the farm and experienced firsthand what happens when sustainability, community, and purpose come together. Grateful to work alongside future changemakers! 💚

Join us in saying goodbye to Leo, who just completed his year of service at Mission of Mary! We have all appreciated his hard work, his determination, and of course, his commitment to the bit. He’s unearthed large rocks from our gardens, trained volunteers, and harvested countless cherry tomatoes; he’s eaten a Carolina Reaper pepper, had a light-saber fight while wearing a hot dog costume, and invited us all out to karaoke at least once or twice. We’ve loved having him on the farm and we wish him well as he wraps up his program and heads down the road to a new job in Cincinnati!

THIS! Thanks to AES Ohio Foundation for your partnership funding support to help us show that 'Food is Love'!

We know summer's almost here when we start getting Friday produce deliveries from Mission of Mary Cooperative👩‍🌾

They generously donate a variety of beautiful locally grown produce to us all summer long. It's a huge help in helping us keep meals full and packed with nutrients. Our first deliveries had berries, greens, scallions, chives, and more. We can't wait to see what comes next as the growing season continues.
