Spending the weekend with this girl at her first barn hunt trial, and she’s far surpassed my expectations. While she won’t tunnel, she’s hunting really well, and is super confident.

I’m also working on some new design ideas for a partnership with a local shop, and I cannot be more excited. Once I get back home, I am going to keep grinding away at the next collection.

Here’s one of the prints that will be launching for the leather collars! Who doesn’t need a neon leopard print. Perfect for summer!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. The sun is shining, the temperature is nice and warm, and it’s shorts/sandals season! Over the next few weeks, prep for the next launch will start. We will have new outdoor collar prints, as well as a few new leather collar prints and items (as seen here)

Stay tuned! Launch is scheduled for first week of May!

Well hello there. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted on the shop feed. And you know what, I don’t feel bad about it. I don’t mean that in a bad way. As a shop owner, there’s a certain expectation to post the best photo or share the best caption. And you know what? I just don’t have it. The last few months that shop was open, my brain/heart was not in it. Sure I could have faked it until I made it. But I was scraping the bottom of the barrel. I was burning the last inch with wick I had. I felt like I was done with it. I needed to step back, and focus on other things for a while. I have been able to do just that. For example, doing some training sessions with Boston and Griffin, my favorite . Also training my own dogs, and working as a bather at a grooming shop.

Any who, the shop is back open. So feel free to browse and what not. I will add some new prints and maybe a few new items here and there. So make sure to turn post notifications in, if you want to stay up to date.

Here’s my sappy post for the year. Now excuse me while I go and cry my eyes out, because it feels like an eternity since I first met him.

2015 to 2020. It has been 5 years since I first met my best pal. A lot has changed since then, but he has been faithfully by my side since day 1. He was a scrawny 7.7lbs, pretty much all skin and bones. Now he’s a big 10lb beef cake. He’s always up to go on adventures, as long as it doesn’t involve him having to swim. He’s traveled to 18 states, and flown clear across the country. He’s accomplished so much in these short 5 years, and I can’t wait to see what he will achieve in the many years we have left. He’s made so many friends, and doesn’t know a stranger, unless you are a garbage truck or delivery van. Hes the biggest blanket thief, and the best cuddled. You are the best boy, Lúpe and I can’t wait to hunt all the rats and chase all the bunnies with you. I love you, bubba.

Winter is coming, so is Hyde & Hound winter collars! They will be hitting the shop this coming Monday, 11/16! There will be four patterns, all exclusive to Hyde & Hound!

The first pattern is “Northern Lights”!
It’s shown here with black biothane, black YKK buckle, and gold hardware.

An important note about ordering this holiday season, order early! With the way the USPS has been handling mail, there’s no guaranteed arrival by Christmas. If you need a collar to arrive in time, order early! I don’t feel comfortable setting a deadline this year for holiday orders, because well, 2020. 😅
