Since 1959 Shiloh Animal Hospital has been an independently owned family business.

In 2017, Dr. Shawne Mazzei and her husband Mark purchased the practice from Dr. Kris Hall. Our primary goal from day one was to continue as an independent, client focused practice.

Being independently owned versus a corporately owned practice brings with it many advantages for our patients and clients. Medically it means we can take as much time as needed to provide one on one individualized care to our patients. For instance, we do not have standardized protocols we have to follow with every patient. Instead we work with our clients to assess what each individual patients needs are. This means we can create a more intimate experience and personalized care plan.

From a cost perspective, it also benefits the clients. We set our own prices rather than having them set by a corporate office. We know our community and keep our clients in mind when we adjust our pricing.

Over the next couple of months, we will continue periodic posts about the advantages that come with being an independently owned practice. Stay tuned!

They are also SWEET AND CUDDLY and love treats!!!
Both were such brave boys for their vaccines!

Shiloh Animal Hospital will be closed on Memorial Day, May 25th. We hope you all have a safe and fun holiday weekend.

Should your pet have an urgent need or emergency while we are closed, both Medvet and Care Center will remain open.

We will be re-open at 8 am Tuesday morning rested and ready to help with all your veterinary needs.
