Today we get to celebrate a pretty special milestone for one of our very own. Help Allison celebrate 30 years at South Rhea! ❤️🐾

Over those 30 years, she’s worn a lot of hats around here. She started in the kennel, worked her way into being a veterinary assistant, and eventually found her niche in inventory and keeping all of our equipment and machines up and running.

Now, as our Inventory Manager, she’s the person behind the scenes making sure we have what we need, keeping track of more things than the rest of us probably even realize, and troubleshooting the equipment when something inevitably decides not to cooperate!

A lot has changed around here in 30 years, but she has been a constant through all of it. We’re so thankful for the time, hard work, knowledge, and care she has given this clinic over the years.

30 years is definitely something worth celebrating! Help us show her some love and congratulate her on this huge milestone! ❤️🎉

🦎 Happy World Lizard Day! 🦎

Today we’re celebrating some of the coolest (and most misunderstood!) members of the animal kingdom. From tiny geckos to impressive iguanas and bearded dragons, lizards come in thousands of species with some pretty amazing adaptations.

If you have a scaly friend at home, give them a little extra love today—and drop a picture in the comments! We’d love to see our reptile friends. 💚

Today’s spotlight is on Dr. Davis and it’s an extra special day because it’s her birthday! 🥳🎂

Here are a few fun facts about Dr. Davis:
🐶🐱 She enjoys caring for both small and large animals and also sees small ruminants, like goats and sheep, right here at South Rhea! 🐐🐑
🎬 She’s a big fan of scary and horror movies.
🎭 She loves Broadway musicals.
🧡 And when football season rolls around, you’ll find her cheering on the Tennessee Vols! 🍊🏈

We’re so thankful to have Dr. Davis as part of the South Rhea family and appreciate the compassionate care she provides to every patient, whether they have paws, hooves, or wool!

Today, we celebrate 250 years of the freedoms we cherish, the community we’re proud to serve, and the pets who make every day a little brighter.
