This year marks 30 years since South Rhea Animal Hospital first opened its doors in 1995 — and what an incredible journey it’s been! From our very first patient to the thousands of pets we’ve treated since, we’re honored to have served our community with compassion, dedication, and a love for animals that grows stronger each year.

We couldn’t have reached this milestone without our amazing clients, loyal patients, and dedicated team. THANK YOU for trusting us with your pets for the past three decades!

They are both females, raised in a foster’s home with kids, dogs and other cats! They are as sweet and cuddly as can be!

We understand Animal Hospital of Rhea County has closed recently. If you decide to choose us for your pet’s care, please know that we are appointment-based clinic and require a yearly exam to maintain a valid Veterinary-Client-Patient-Relationship (VCPR) for prescriptions. We are happy to also provide treatment estimates during visits if needed. Please request a copy of your pet’s medical record to keep on hand for our reference and aid in any medication refills or vaccines needs.

We have three adorable dogs looking for their forever dog only homes, no cats —and one of them might just be your perfect match!

1. Goob – A sweet 2 year old hound mix (black & tan) who loves to play and is very food motivated.

2. Gunner – A playful 4 year-old lab mix (white & tan) with endless energy and a heart of gold.

3. Star – A sweet 3 year-old pointer mix breed (black & white) who loves to play and is so sweet! Ideal in a single pet only family.

All three are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and ready to bring joy to your life.
