I've been gone for a few months.... let me explain!

Back in September, my husband and I started helping his father with some things around the outside of his home that he just couldn't do. We very quickly realized that my father-in-law was not in any condition to care for himself alone, and he needed more help than what we were giving.

Through all of September, October and November, we worked day after day to bring the home to livable standards. The decision was made in October that we would move in with him and help care for him. Over Thanksgiving weekend, we made our big move and have been working diligently over the winter to make this house our home.

My new house has an incredible walk-up attic, which is where my office will be! The setting up of my office will be documented on my YouTube Channel if you're interested in seeing that. It's going to be a really cool space! https://www.youtube.com/

Since I have a stable location again, I've decided to offer some local services, namely repairing clothing. Clothing is so expensive, and if I can help anyone wear their clothes a little longer and keep them out of a landfill, that's a win in my book. This is going to be a really long post, but if you are someone who loves fantasy everything, I really want you to read this.

Some big things have been happening lately! A couple weeks ago, Kyle and I got an RV that we plan on living in full-time for the time being. (If you’ve ever lived in an RV full time, I’d love your tips!)

We drove down to West Virginia, slept in our car for three days, and scored a 1977 Fleetwood Pace Arrow with only 57k miles on the engine. This thing has gone basically nowhere. It’s currently at a shop in West Virginia being worked on by a mechanic because it’s sat for a while and desperately needs fluids and tires - and apparently an alternator. Once it’s done at the mechanic, we’ll get it back here so we can finally clean it up on the inside (decently dirty because of how long it sat), and do any renovations that it needs to make it functional for us.

All of this is so we can pursue our big dream, an adults only fantasy camp. A place where you can be the spy swiping the Crown Jewels from the castle vault, or the princess waiting to be saved by her brave knight. You could be the knight too, it’s really about making your fantasies come to reality.

This is obviously going to be a really big project for us. We have a lot of really cool plans already - but we really need to find a location for it that will be large enough to do what we need. There are a TON of old summer camps in this country that aren’t used anymore, so we’ll be on a mission to find the one that speaks to us most.
