🐾 Caring for Our Smallest Goldendoodle 🐾
We’re diving deep into the world of neonatal puppy care with one of our newest Goldendoodle pups, who was born at half the weight of her siblings. Here’s how my daughter and I are dedicated to supporting her:
- Temperature Control: Keeping the whelping box at a consistent 90°F to ensure she stays warm and comfortable.
- Feeding Support: Monitoring her nursing closely and supplementing with bottle feedings to boost her growth.
- Frequent Monitoring: Regular weigh-ins help us track her progress and ensure she’s on the right path.
- Round-the-Clock Care: Our commitment means we haven’t left the nursery since her birth, ensuring she gets the attention she needs.
Despite not gaining weight as quickly, she remains strong and energetic. The care we provide requires dedication and love, and every moment is worth it to see her thrive.
