May is Mental Health Awareness month. Please take some time to learn about resources in your community and how you can make a difference! Whether you are someone who struggles with mental illness, or you know someone who does — we can all learn more about how to take better care of ourselves and those around us. One of the most impactful things I have learned in the last decade is how important community is. Be an active participant! Send that meme, share a meal, ask what they did today or for pictures of their pet. We need to know we’re not alone, that our lives have meaning, and that we aren’t as invisible as we feel.

For me, pets are an integral part of healing. I rely on my animals for comfort, keeping me engaged in routine, and reminding me to take care of myself when I’m caring for them. This time of year is exceptionally hard for me and I’m leaning on my furry friends more than ever.

If you’re struggling with your mental health, please get help. You belong here. It may feel like society is crumbling but your people are out there. Find them! We are only surviving with the help of each other. I want to see you find joy again. I want to see you thrive. I’m rooting for you on the good and bad days.

5/23: We’re excited to kick off Pride with for their inaugural Gem City Q***r Fest held at from 7:30-11:30. Tickets are $10 and proceeds will benefit . Come out to enjoy live music, shop with local LGBTQ+ vendors, and celebrate community.

The top seller so far this Spring has been our Mom’s Favorite set! We’ve sold 18 collars in this print. 😦 At a market we vended at recently, a customer said it had “2000s Ed Hardy vibes” and tbh I’m here for it! We were honored to make this spring themed silent auction donation for as part of the PET Gala: Surviving and Thriving with . The event will be held at on April 24 from 7-10PM. Guests can expect lots of fun for people AND pets including a live DJ, whimsical pet portraits, and yummy treats for both canines and humans! This is a ticketed event supporting two great causes, and you can even purchase a pet ticket to bring the cutest date with you. 🐾 There are still limited tickets available. Come show up for the pets and people in your community!
