The empty shelter project is awesome. I wish we could get them to come to Dayton or Liberty one time or a few times

Today’s event is underway providing free spay/ neuter, vaccines and microchips to community members helping keep pets and people together.

We are in the Huffman area (Northeast Harris County) which is known as one of the highest for homeless pets and communities in need of vet services to help keep pets with their owners.

We have over 350 pets on site getting free services at no cost to their owners and you can help support your community members and pets by supporting the next event!

FREE SPAY AND NUETER FOR THE PETS OF ANYONE WHO CAN MAKE IT TO LAURELS HOUSE (yes, including residents of Liberty County)

Laurels House is an awesome animal welfare nonprofit. They have a mobile spay and neuter vehicle from which they do free spay and neuters every day. It is typically located at 3830 Greenhouse Rd, Houston, TX 77084 unless they have an event scheduled elsewhere

To get your pets fixed with them you will need to go to their website at (https://laurelshouse.org/) and read their spay & neuter program page and their FAQ page. And then you will need to fill out their spay and neuter request/surgical admission form and they will get back with you and tell you if you are qualified, if you are they will schedule the appointment and let you when it is.

You can get up to 4 pet animals fixed at one/each time

At the time of the appointment, they will also get your pet up to date on its vaccine shots and will also microchip your pet/s, ALL FOR FREE).

Here how it works. You have to give them a deposit of $25 at the time of scheduling for each pet scheduled to be fixed. After the procedure is done, when you pick up your pet, they will give you your $25 back and give you the option to donate that $25 (or more) back to them so that others can get their pets fixed for free.
