The German Shepherd is one of the most versatile dog breeds in the world. Over time, different types and bloodlines have emerged—some officially recognized and others not, but all widely known.

Bred for performance, obedience, and endurance.

✔️ Used in police, military, and rescue work
🔹 2️⃣ Show Line German Shepherd
Focused on appearance for competitions.

✔️ Pronounced angulation
✔️ Very common in dog shows
🔹 3️⃣ West German German Shepherd
Considered the modern original standard.

✔️ Stable temperament
🔹 4️⃣ DDR German Shepherd (East Germany)
An old, hard-working bloodline.

✔️ High physical and mental endurance
🔹 5️⃣ Czechoslovakian German Shepherd
Bred for border patrol and military tasks.

✔️ Strong guarding instinct
