Atlas came today for day training!

He was dropped off at 9am and picked up at 3:30pm

We worked on:
-long line work (recalls, send outs, controlled walking on long leash)

-handling: being held, feet touched, tail touched

-wait at doors

-rear end awareness

-place training

-no barking

-crate training

-confidence building

-impulse control

-no jumping

And of course got to have some fun play in the yard with his sister Ava!

Our 7-week AKC STAR Puppy Program builds a foundation of manners, confidence, and social skills — all while strengthening the bond between you and your pup.

Drop your dog off in the morning, pick them up in the evening — and come home to a calmer, better-behaved companion!

At Willow Creek, our Day Training Program gives your dog daily, professional training sessions, structured play, and confidence-building activities.

✨ We Only Accept 4 Dogs Per Day ✨
This ensures your dog gets maximum trainer attention, personalized progress, and a safe, calm environment.

Training Schedule:
• Training Days: Monday – Thursday
• Drop-Off: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
• Pickup: 3:30PM – 5:00 PM

Our Programs Include:
• Professional training 4 days per week
• Foundational Basic Obedience OR advanced E-Collar Off-Leash Training
• Enrichment games & confidence-building activities
• Daily report cards & at-home practice assignments

Canine Good Citizen Urban Dog Class

Take your dog’s good manners to the next level! The CGC Urban test is designed to evaluate your dog’s obedience and confidence in real-world, city-like environments.

This 6-week course focuses on preparing you and your dog for the unique challenges of urban life—navigating busy sidewalks, crossing streets, ignoring food distractions, walking through doorways, and remaining calm around loud noises, traffic, and crowds.

You and your dog will practice:
• Loose-leash walking through busy areas
• Politely greeting strangers in public
• Ignoring distractions like food, noises, and other dogs
• Entering and exiting doorways calmly
• Remaining confident in tight spaces or crowded areas

Week 6 will be your official AKC Urban CGC Test.
To take the test, your dog must already have their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification.

While it’s recommended that your dog earn their CGC title before enrolling in this class, it’s not required to participate in the training.

Whether you’re aiming for the official title or simply want a well-behaved, confident dog in any setting, this class will help you and your dog become a reliable team in the real world.
