This girl comes to me no matter how far away she is. I have completely fallen in love with her as she was the first premie calf we've ever raised. Weighing a whole 20lbs when she was born.
I had to milk mom and give Honey a bottle until she was big enough to nurse on her own.
I laid in the field and cuddled her and I've tried to love on her several times a week since she's been born. She'll be 11 months the 27th of this month.
Unfortunately, due to the lack of space and trying to keep her sire(dad) away from her once she's breeding age she's having to find a new home.
And, I don't think I could've found a better home for her. She goes to her new home towards the end of the month. Her new mom came out to meet her last week. She sent me videos of where her new home will be. Although, she's a pet for mom she'll have 2 little boys to love her too.
I'm thankful to get to make someone else's dreams come true and hopeful to get to watch her grow and love her new family.
If you had a farm what one animal would you just have to have? I'm torn between my cows and donkeys.
