New student Abby learning about what it takes to be a cowgirl. Bathing Blackjack after her lesson. Its not all just about getting on to ride. Our horses work hard for us, so proper care is a must.
The magic of what horses can do for your children is amazing.
Blackjack is wonderful with the kids! I watch so many kids advance to become more confident riders and independent with their handling of horses when taking lessons on Blackjack.

Marley said, "Hold on, little one, I got this!!
7yr old student Ruby winning 1st place in the Barrels, 11 and under division and she gave Pole Bending a try for the first time at the Sunshine Ranches Equestrian Park fun show.
This was Ruby's first race on Marley. I told her she was ready to compete on her, so it was time to put her big girl pants on, to just trust Marley and let her work, she will take good care of you!
Love my old barrel mare!! It was so wonderful to watch these two do well together. 🩷 Congratulations, Ruby! Proud of you!!! You were so brave. True little cowgirl in the making. 🤠

Student Julie on Vegas Blackjack. Winning Reserve Champion in the 2'6 Hopeful Jumpers at the Heritage Horse Show. Congratulations!!
When looking at this horse go over jumps, you would never know it is my same 20yr old lesson horse that I use for the kids. 🖤

Grace, a client and big supporter of Showclass Stables, riding Liberty during our holiday parade on horseback. They both looked awesome! 🐎 🎅 🎄
Grace has been through quit a roller coaster ride with different life challenges and surgeries, but she still comes out to the barn with a smile on her face to give all the horse's love. Despite any pain, restrictions, or limitations, she is still happy to get on a horse to ride, even if it's just at a walk.
Life can be difficult, and life isn't always fair, but life can also be what you make of it. So go hug a horse or make time to ride. Horse's are great for the soul! ❤️ 🐎

Student Jodi making one of her more solid runs on Liberty. This was her first time running her on a bigger pattern. She accidentally got a little in her face coming off the 3rd, but overall did well!
Jodi kept a more consistent speed throughout the pattern, without breaking down coming into her turns. Which has been something we have been working on.
Jodi hasn't been barrel racing for long but has shown she has what it takes! It's always a wonderful experience to watch the progression of your students. Keep up the great work, Jodi!!

Spent the afternoon running the ground at the Showclass West Arena in Labelle with myself and some students. Getting everything dialed in for our barrel race with the NBHA10 on November 8th.
Big thank you to Alain Ruiz, everything is coming together nicely with the property and the arena. Today was a beautiful day to work the pattern. The horses ran good and the ground held up well. Good times had by all. 😊

Student Camila winning 1st place in the pumpkin barrels at the South Florida Trail Riders Halloween fun show. Camila gave everyone a good laugh running in her banana costume. Her and Jet were a banana split. Loved it! 😆❤️🍌 Jet rocked his cherry on top while he gave Camila a great run. Nice job guys!

Shots from our money run at the NBHA 05 race at Time Powers Arena. Thank you to my wonderful clients for trusting me to run their horse this season. I am happy to keep him tuned and dialed in. He's a special boy! After a little more fine tunning with a couple of things on the pattern, we will be cranking out some more speed. Looking forward to it..!! Practice what you preach! Like I tell my students... Focus on being technically sound on the pattern first before thinking about the speed. The speed will be there when you want it! These animals are born to run! ❤️
