We offer pony camp, private lessons, and private parties etc. After a lifetime of having horses, logging countless hours in the saddle, mucking stalls and training race horses a dream came true. Bruce and Jackie built their barn in 2005, complete with an indoor arena for Bruce to train and rope, wash rack and warm water for Jackie to pamper her horses and a heated recreation room to party and ente
rtain! They built the barn for their own personal use but have since decided that it is much more fun to share it with others. Each year they hold a few clinics, but mostly enjoy working with children who aren't able to have a place close to home to work or play with horses. They love having parties and sharing their place with friends and family. Every Day is a Grand Adventure
Beginner Camp: The beginner camp is designed for riders who have little or no riding experience. We emphasize safety, while learning how to lead, groom, tack up and care for the ponies and horses. Each child will receive individual daily riding time with an instructor, becoming comfortable while being mounted and riding at a walk. Lessons are available at other times. Activities including arts and crafts will be done each day. Advanced Camp: Our advanced camp is for children who have been to camp previously or those who have had previous horse experience. In this camp we will continue to build on skills learned at previous camps as well as continue to expand knowledge while in the saddle. We will focus more on horsemanship, use of natural aids, gaits and transitions. At this camp students will play games on horseback to improve confidence, balance and riding ability. NOTE: Camps are limited to 8 riders and fill quickly. Please feel free to email [email protected] or call Jackie @ #608-482-0784 if you would like any additional information.
