Zelda has been living at one of our local shelters since she was 6 weeks old, she is now 4 months old.
We’ve promised her it’s only up from here.

She doesn’t realize if yet but she is one of the lucky ones. There’s an unending “supply” of black & white bully mixes wishing for their next chapter.

We are always multitasking over here…

Pick up kiddos from the grandparents ✅

Drive 1.5hrs from Bham to Montgomery Humane ✅✅

Drive 2.5hrs back to Daphne with 3 kids, 1 dog, & 3 kittens ✅✅✅

Question my life choices while stuck in traffic…maybe 🤪

One of the many reasons we enjoy working with Montgomery Humane is the trust we have in each other.

In 2026, supporting open intake shelters is vital to the safety of not only dogs & cats but also the community as a whole. Without open intake shelters dogs & cats are left on streets in neighborhoods where they continue to breed & become a danger to humans (dogs specifically).

While we can’t save them all we do change the course of all the lives we intake. ❤️

While people are enjoying their summer animal shelters & rescues are drowning in calls for help.

Whether that help is for surrendering an animal and/or helping with a found animal the calls, social media tags, messages never end.

Here is a 10 seconds of the noise we hear while walking the floor during one of our local shelter visits.

Don’t forget to shop our updated shirt colors!

Every purchase not only helps support the animals we have in care but allows us to continue to help those in need. 🐶🐈‍⬛

💫 We recommend sizing up if you like a loose fit, washing inside out to save the graphic over time, & selecting shipping as “on demand”.

Thank you for helping to support our mission💕

Morning Flower has been waiting patiently for her new family! She’s at Pet Supermarket in Daphne.

A wonderful follower has graciously sponsored a portion of her adoption fee which is now $75.

Morning Flower is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, combo tested (neg), & microchipped.

She was fostered with young kids. She does not care for other cats.

To adopt, go visit her at Pet Supermarket.

🐾 ATTENTION LOW-INCOME PET OWNERS! 🐾

One unplanned litter can quickly turn into dozens more animals needing homes. Spaying and neutering is the single most effective way to prevent pet overpopulation and reduce the number of homeless animals in our community.

Safe Harbor Animal Coalition is proud to offer low-cost spay/neuter assistance for qualifying low-income pet owners in Baldwin County.

💚 Co-Pays
🐱 Cats — $10
🐶 Dogs — $20

Your co-pay covers:
✔ Spay or Neuter Surgery
✔ Rabies Vaccination
✔ All surgery-related costs

These programs are designed to make responsible pet ownership affordable and accessible for families who need a helping hand.

📌 Baldwin County low-income residents may qualify.
📌 If someone in your household receives Medicaid, the Alabama Spay/Neuter License Plate Program may also be available to assist eligible pet owners statewide.

Every pet altered helps prevent future suffering, reduces shelter overcrowding, and keeps more animals out of harm’s way.

🌐 Visit our website for income requirements and to submit an application:
safeharboranimalcoalition.org
Click on the “Spay/Neuter Information” section to get started.

Together, we can prevent unwanted litters and create a better future for animals in our community.

More proof that being a tripod doesn’t stop Molly from enjoying life.

She spent the weekend with her foster dad rehearsing at the theater. 🎭

We can’t believe this sweet girl hasn’t found her people yet. We know they are out there some where…

🐾 While Molly is a well behaved girl she is not a farm dog, would do best with male dogs, & older kids. This girl is eager to find her person to bond with forever.

She is 2 years old & 60lbs. Molly is a collie/GSD mix.

It’s a good thing Cider aka Pup Pup is a cutie because she isn’t winning any leash walking awards.
