April is Heartworm awareness month and anyone who is familiar with rescue knows it’s a never ending battle! We cannot stress enough the importance of Heartworm preventions!! There are so many options for dogs of all sizes and all price ranges.

These two sweet girls in addition to being abandoned by their owners were also failed on the Heartworm prevention front. Greta and Sierra both came to us testing positive for Heartworms and are currently undergoing treatment.

In addition to how hard this is on the dogs physically, it is also incredibly costly. We try our best not to ask for financial help but we could really use some help!!
