is a 501(c)3 non-profit rescue organization made up of a small group of volunteers in Boone County, WV (south of Charleston)
We do not have a facility or shelter. We primarily rescue dogs from the local high kill Boone County dog pound as well as some animals from within the community who need immediate assistance. Most animals are sent to out of state rescues however, we do adopt to the communi

ty on occasion to qualified applicants. All dogs are required to be spayed/neutered before they will be adopted out. All rescues are possible through donations, adoptions, foster homes, rescues and volunteers. This dog was found inside the Madison Pool facility-which the facility has been shut down for years. She has been in there it seems a good while. A Good Samaritan let her out. Please share in hopes to find the owner. This is all the info we have.

🚨 Rescue Partners “PEACHES” IS READY FOR HIS SECOND CHANCE! 🚨

Somehow, Peaches survived the unthinkable. His life was spent tied out with a wire and thread tightly wrapped around his neck. He was emaciated, suffering, and living in conditions no animal should ever endure.
Thankfully, a volunteer stepped in and Peaches was surrendered to us. 🙏

And now… LOOK AT HIM.

Peaches has absolutely ROSE. 🌹

From the moment he was safe, he accepted love. He didn’t let his past define him. He has shown us exactly who he is a big, loving boy who is ready to leave his past behind and finally experience the life he deserves.

The black beauties always seem to get overlooked… BUT LET ME TELL YOU….WE HAVE SOME ABSOLUTE SHOWSTOPPERS! 😍
These boys are so loyal, loving, and the most well behaved-DOG-FRIENDLY-PEOPLE-FRIENDLY-TOY-LOVING dogs!

❤️ Every single one of them deserves the chance to be seen for the amazing dogs they truly are!! Garth absolutely trembles inside his run at the pound, but once he walks out—he feels the relief again! HE WAS ABANDONED ON THE STREETS! 🥹
Midnight and Phantom (Neutered) are brothers and were dropped on the streets and abandoned as well. Their demeanors are pure and they accept that loving touch. Socializing is key and that’s what we are doing…continue to lift and keep their heads up high!!

Seven dogs/pups and 5 cats safely transported to two partner rescues yesterday. We also had some hitchhikers from a couple other rescues on the van. Big Thank You to our fosters, drivers, Sean, our HO, and rescue partners!!! Pound is still FULL. We get 3 out and five more come in. There’s a loooooong waiting list. The county pound is too small/not enough runs to take care of the county. 😞
Thank you to all our supporters!!! We can’t do this without you!

Three dogs safely transported to a partner rescue this weekend. Huge thank you to our driver, coordinator and fosters!!! Deeply appreciate our supporters far and wide. Takes a LOT of days/weeks to get transports set up after days and weeks of begging for rescue help. A lot goes on behind the scenes.

Chewy left us a few weeks ago on his journey to find his forever. He was living in a not-so-nice place. With your help, he is striving and looks so much happier. We can’t do this without your support. Transports are slowing down and we get emotionally drained, but when we see these pics, it makes us try harder to get everyone out of the pound and to a better life. We are always in need of temporary fosters and transporters. If you can help, send us a message.
Please follow the Boone County Dog Pound, also. That’s where we have pictures of the dogs still begging for a second chance. Thank you to our volunteers, Sean the HO who always helps us, to all of our supporters, and all our rescue partners!!
