We are a dog grooming salon and dog resort located in Central Illinois. We offer boarding, grooming, doggy day care and water therapy at our facility.

We invite you to visit our upscale grooming salon and dog resort in north Danville, Illinois. Our services include a hydro-massage and deep coat cleansing system, a full groom that consists of a trim, bath, ears cleaned and nails trimmed. All dogs receive the best smelling cologne (Isle Of The Dog) and a bow or a bandana. We use the best shampoo and conditioner products (LES POOCHS) to make your p

et smell and feel so good! We use the Hanvey Bathing Beauty, which is a deep coat cleansing system that lifts the dirt away while massaging the dog's skin. We feature a hydraulic grooming table (700 lb weight limit) with casters that allow us to move the grooming table right over to the tub. We also have a Forever Stainless Steel tub with a ramp and a removable door that allows your pet to walk off of the grooming table or up the ramp right into the tub. We want to make your dog's grooming experience as pleasant as possible. There's nothing better than a happy dog! Schedule your best friend a spa day at Canine Design! Canine Design Dog Resort suites have 6x7 sleep area with a 6x7 covered outdoor run. Our facility is climate controlled, cool in the summer and warm in the winter. All boarding costs include individual play and/or group play, nature walks, morning and evening feedings. Your dog can enjoy supervised play in our indoor or outdoor play area, complete with lots of fun things for your dog to play with. Our facility is located on 10 wooded acres adjacent to our home. We encourage you to bring toys or a blanket from home, etc. Your dog's comfort is our utmost concern. We also offer Water Therapy for pets ailing from hip dysplasia , arthritis, post surgery and minor sprains. The pool is a 14x7 heated swim spa designed for dog therapy use. The therapist is a certified water work practitioner who will work with your veterinarian in order to provide your pet the therapy they need.

Hey everyone, I have a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! K-9 Peace Of Mind Resort is now owned and operated by Krissi and Talia Daulton. New name, new ownership! They are fantastic people and will love and care for your dogs. Give them a call to set up boarding arrangements. I’m so happy for the new owners to embark on this journey and pick up where Patrick left off. I’m sure he would be proud to see his labor of love carrying on. ❤️🐶🐾🐕❤️

I just want to say a big “Thank You” to the Country Store Health Foods here in Danville, IL for the beautiful wreath that they made in memory of Patrick Harrington. It’s beautiful! I love the special touches made to it that honors Patrick’s love for all the boarding dogs he cared for. It is a very special gift made with love from the awesome women at the Country Store Health Foods. It will be displayed in our home for many years to come. ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️

An obituary will be posted in the Commercial News closer to when we will have memorial services for Patrick. He is greatly missed by so many and our place and the boarding just doesn’t feel the same without his presence and relentless energy. You are welcome to attend each service. Looking for the absolute best home for Charlie. He is very sweet and loving but he would not be able to be in a household with any dogs because he’s terrified of them. If you know of someone who would love having Charlie as an inside cat then please let me know.

This is to inform all of Canine Design Dog Resort’s boarding clients that the business is going to be closed due to a very tragic accident that took place today. Patrick is gone from this earth but I want him to be in your memories of all the times he boarded your dogs.
