Around here, it's not all zoomies and playtime. With Nito, Drakon, Sinatra, and Justice, it's quite the opposite 💤

Meet our crew of couch potatoes, or "The Chill Playgroup," as they are lovingly called by our interns. These 4 adoptable dogs have opted out of chaos, and they’re here to judge the wild puppies (from the shade).

Their hobbies include:
• napping in the grass
• dips in the pool
• hanging out with zero drama

It looks like the best things DO come in threes! ⭐

Edgar, Lee, and Lance have grown up in a loving foster home, getting ready to fit right into your family! These sweet 4-month-old Lab mixes have the benefits of puppies, but they've already started on all of the training!

In their foster home, they’re crate trained overnight (8+ hours with no accidents!), doing great with potty training, learning leash skills, and love playing with other dogs. They've even tried swimming and didn’t mind bath time!

✨ Edgar is the curious one! He’s a bit shy at first and likes to hang back when unsure, but once he warms up, he’s all in. Edgar loves belly rubs, retrieving toys, and cuddling in your arms. He knows “sit” and “come,” and is very responsive to gentle correction. He doesn’t miss a meal and has a great balance of s***k and sweetness.

✨ Lee is the gentle observer. He’s incredibly affectionate, loves to be held, and has a calm, thoughtful energy. Lee is eager to please and the quickest learner of the group. He’s perfect for kids or anyone looking for a best friend to grow up with. He gets along well with other dogs and is curious (but a bit unsure) about cats.

✨ Lance may be the smallest, but he’s mighty! More observant than his brothers, Lance is playful but not afraid to speak up when his siblings get too rowdy. He’s a scrappy little guy who will happily fall asleep snuggled in your arms. Sometimes he needs a reminder at mealtimes, but his affectionate nature and quiet bravery make him a total heart-stealer.

Remi is a senior lab mix, but he has the heart of a much younger dog! 🤩

This handsome boy came into the shelter very underweight, but thanks to the love and care of his foster home, Remi is ready for adoption!

💬 His foster home said:

“He definitely does not let his age get to him and he loves going on runs, long walks, and swims! He can also be a total couch potato and sleep the whole day off. He loves other dogs and cats! Remi would be the perfect addition to your home if you’re looking for a go-with-the-flow pup.”

Lady and Nito didn’t plan on becoming best friends at the shelter, but now they’re the perfect duo!

💃 Lady is the beautiful Shepherd mix. She’s a volunteer favorite because of her ready-to-go attitude, whether it is training, hiking, or playgroups. She also enjoys hanging out with kitty friends at the shelter!

🎸 Nito is the goofy rockstar who thinks every person is a new best friend. This handsome lab mix is an intern favorite because of his silly antics!

At the shelter, this unlikely pair has brought out the best in each other! Lady is a gentler, more playful pup, and Nito has come completely out of his shell. They’re living proof that friendship makes life more fun.

💥 The best part? While they’re awesome together, they would like to find their own families!

Meet our turbo-charged trio: Sparkplug, Carpurrator, and Alternator! This group of tiny powerhouses just hit 9 weeks old and are fully tuned up for play!💨

💬 They have been raised by a loving foster family, who said:

“Sparkplug (male) Carpurrator (female), and Alternator (male) are ~9 weeks old, super playful and have their own distinct personalities. Sparkplug is the fluffiest and has the smallest meow. He’s very laidback but loves to play - with his siblings but can also keep himself entertained. Carpurrator is the chattiest and loves to cuddle on your shoulder. She’s true to her name and you’ll know she’s happy when her loud purr turns on. Alternator loves to jump scare his siblings, explore, and is a cuddle bug.”
