For anyone who has attended a Perfect Paws Zoom service, the dulcet sounds of Steve O'Connor on guitar are a major draw.

His son, Ryan O'Connor, has appeared also, individually and with his dad, and the two are truly wonderful talents.

So, here's the GOOD NEWS: The father/son duo of Steve and Ryan O’Connell will celebrate the summer solstice with songs of hope and inspiration, with a concert to benefit the Samaritan Charitable Society of Salem. The concert presented by the singer/guitarists will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, at the Tabernacle Congregational Church, 50 Washington Street, Salem, with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit the Samaritans. Tickets are available at the door or may be purchased in advance through Eventbrite (click here). A suggested donation of $20 is requested, and a 50/50 raffle will be held. The church is handicapped accessible.

Hope to see you there!

Danvers, MA – All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore joyfully announces its upcoming Pride Sunday celebration, which coincides with Trinity Sunday, a day that reflects the unity, love, and relationships at the heart of the Christian faith.

This special service, officiated by The Rev. Mary Scott Miller, will include a homily and the Holy Eucharist along with special music to honor and uplift our LGBTQ+ brothers and sisters, as well as their friends and allies.

Trinity Sunday celebrates the Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three distinct persons in one divine essence, symbolizing diversity within unity. This sacred mystery resonates with the spirit of Pride Month, which affirms the dignity and inclusion of LGBTQ+ individuals in society and faith communities. Both observances remind us that love is relational, transformative, and boundless.

The roots of Pride Month can be traced back to the Stonewall Riots of June 1969, a pivotal moment in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights. The first Pride marches occurred in June 1970, marking a shift from protest to celebration and advocacy. Today, Pride Month is recognized globally as a time to honor the contributions, struggles, and triumphs of LGBTQ+ individuals.

At the heart of All Saints North Shore is the Episcopal Church’s commitment to welcoming all people with open hearts and open doors. Our faith calls us to love without condition, and our Pride Sunday celebration reflects that sacred promise. We invite everyone —community members, friends, and allies —to join us in this joyful, affirming celebration of faith, love, and unity.

For more information, please contact All Saints North Shore at the Parish Office at 978-774-1150.
Also, visit us online at All Saints Episcopal North Shore. You will be so welcome with us.

All Saints is located at 46 Cherry Street, directly across from the Danvers Town Hall. Ample on-street parking is available.

Everyone is welcome here—our church is designed to be accessible for all abilities.

Perfect Paws Pet Ministry at All Saints North Shore, Danvers, MA

In 2017, the Perfect Paws Pet Ministry -- a robust outreach ministry from All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore -- celebrated its seventh year of existence.

Much has changed since our first service on Sunday, May 16, 2010, when we offered a simple service of Holy Eucharist and reflection in O'Neill Hall, welcoming a large group of animal lovers who brought their beloved animal companions to church to experience something new and different ... and oh so loving!

In 2010, a story on our new worship initiative -- written by Ethan Forman for the Salem News -- was picked up by the Associated Press and carried all over the United States and the world! We still maintain relationships with people who read that story and reached out to us from the U.S. and Germany, Ireland, Italy and Hungary with requests for "paper prayers" for their ill or deceased animal friends. And many members of that original congregation -- nearly eight years ago -- still come to our monthly services, some with their original animal companions. Some -- who have lost their beloved animal friends -- come without, or have brought new ones to introduce to what has grown into a close and supportive community of some 40 or more people who congregate on the third Sunday of each month, from 5 to 5:30 p.m.

Our candle-lighting service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance, each November, is a huge draw, as is our Christmas for the Animals service in December.
