Well…here we are! If you have been patiently waiting for a Maddy/Patches puppy or a Heidi/Catcher Puppy-both Maddy & Heidi came into heat 6 hrs apart this past week. They absolutely love to raise their puppies together in the same room with each Mom having her own space.

If you have always dreamt of a Maddy puppy but have put the thought on the back burner, this is most likely her retirement litter.

Also looking for 2 guardian families for a female from Maddy/Patches litter & 1 guardian family for a female from Heidi/Catcher. If you want to learn more about what being a guardian entails, fill out an application on my website & write in the comments that you are interested in learning more.

ETA of puppies arrival tail end of Oct/beginning of Nov & go home around end of Dec/beginning of January.

If you have been following me for some time, you know I do not buy, sell nor retain based on color. Health and temperament always supersedes the color of a dog.

Both girls have produced non fading puppies that mature and remain very pigmented as an adult. Testing of offspring I’ve held back from both girls have been phenomenal.

A $500 non refundable deposit via Cashapp will guarantee you a puppy from the litter of your choice.

Live streaming of the birth of each litter will be on my YouTube channel. Weekly live videos will also be streamed. Additional videos will be sent to families who have a deposit.

At this time, I am accepting 3 deposits for Heidi/Catcher & 2 for Maddy/Patches. Would prefer to take deposits from Maddy/Patches if you do not have a gender preference or prefer a male.. Mother Nature is always the boss but I am hopeful she will have 1-2 females I can hold back to continue her legacy & that spectacular line. Historically, Maddy has produced therapy & alert dogs. Her first litter she did produce a service dog. Heidi and Catcher typically produce 1 service dog prospect and therapy dogs.

Possible colors for Heidi’s litter are caramel or chocolate roans, caramel or chocolate parti’s, solid dark chocolates, solid dark caramels. Size full maturity 25-34 lbs 14”-16”.

Maddy could produce any color from chocolate to cream, caramel, red, apricot, black- all solids with the possibility of some white markings on chest (Maddy is a parti carrier). Pups at full maturity expected to be small mediums 30-40 lbs 15”-17”.. Creams, Reds, apricots, blacks will have a black nose.

Anyone who owns a Maddy or a Heidi puppy will tell you just how special they truly are.

Gemma, a chocolate roan out of Heidi & Grizz is expected to come into heat in September. Her testing was phenomenal as well. She had OFA finals and Pennhip completed on 5/27/26. She will be added to my website soon. She turned 2 on 5/25/26.

I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Summer.

Any questions, please contact me through my website

No stress. Just catching those Summer Vibes when it is too hot.
Paws can burn on 125ºF asphalt, but know this: pavement can reach that temp when it’s only 77ºF outdoors.
Paw burns happen fast
Know before you go.

The 5-second test
Before you walk your dog, place the back of your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds
If it’s too hot for your hands, it’s unsafe for paws
Paw protection tips:

1) Walk early morning or late afternoon; not during peak heat hours.

2) Walk your dog where there’s shade or grass.

3)Consider dressing your pup with protective paw booties
4)Research paw wax; most offer a protective barrier + moisturizing ingredients

Personally, I stick to #1. I either take my dogs before 9am or I wait till 6pm. I prefer evenings because most are having dinner.

Shoes are gimmicky. They are also dangerous as your dog may feel very much off balance. I’ve heard of costly injuries occurring due to shoes. They take just as long to get on as they do off and they are not comfortable for your dog (as much as you may think so I promise they are not).

It’s simple. Do the 5 second test. No guessing games. No gimmicks. If it’s too hot for you, it’s definitely too hot for your family memberfs)

I’ve been getting inundated with inquiries and applications. I try my best to plan. I’m waiting for 4 dogs to come into heat. I don’t have a time frame. One was due to come into heat last month (Gemma), one should be pregnant right now (Shelby- she has not come into heat yet) & Heidi & Maddy are every 7 mo dogs so they are both due to come into heat THIS month of July. I will announce on this page when I do have someone in heat. Most of you already know but I feel the need to say it since I have many new followers. I do not breed for color. I do not buy, retain or sell based on color. The health of a dog is what I care most about followed hand in hand with the right temperament for each family. If you are looking for a red tuxedo mini, I am not the right breeder for you. If you are looking for a red tuxedo mini but open minded to all colors, it’s something I can notate on your application. Keep in mind, I am powerless in terms of colors born. I do enough genetic testing that I’m able to tell you all of the possibilities. I cannot and will not ever guarantee a family a dog prior to 7 weeks of age when puppies are temperament tested and have had a wellness check. I realize I have not updated my website. I get hundreds of applications everytime I do. I am waiting on some documents to come in before I add Gemma to my site. It’s much easier to update 1-2x per year. All updates are always posted here on my page. At this point, if anyone ended up pregnant in the month of July, puppies would be going home in November. 2 months gestation and 2 months with me. That would be the earliest and only if someone comes into heat soon. I do love to send home litters over the Winter months. Puppies sleep an awful lot and aren’t ready for walks in the neighborhood, pools and all the activities. Winter months are a great time to take home a puppy. Most leave here house trained and knowing basic commands. Also I do not and will not EVER breed micro mini’s. They are not breed standard. Be careful with breeders who say they have micro mini’s. I also do not breed dogs over 45 lbs any longer. Looking for several guardian families for upcoming litters- particularly those that want a female. All health/genetic testing is fully paid for as well as all fees related to breeding (progesterone testing, exam). A guardian family is responsible to feed what we feed OR something similar (please discuss directly with me before switching or adding something new), training, socializing. All are tested after their 2nd birthday. It’s a great opportunity to own a pick of the litter dog at what will end up being no cost to you once contract is completed. I’ve also had many ask if they can come and meet my dogs. First, I am a residence. Second, I protect my future puppies against anything transmissible by keeping traffic out of my fenced in yard. Unlike most breeders, I film many live videos. You can find my latest videos on YouTube under LakeRidge Labradoodles. I feel as though my videos I have posted over the years give families a sense of each dog’s personality. I don’t take risks and I am strict when it comes to biosecurity. I do my best to keep all my dog’s healthy and parasite free. I’ve never had a case of parvo or anything not coccidia etc. I’m always happy to FaceTime as well but feel like the hundreds of videos I’ve posted (I’m also on Instagram) should be sufficient. You are welcome to request and always happy to oblige a face time or a video but I do not allow families to come and meet my dogs and meet the puppies (already sold out by the time they are born anyway). Last, not all dogs live with me. I have 3 girls that live with me (one of which is retired & the other 2 coming up to retirement). Guardian homes are essential to a breeding program who will always refuse to kennel their dogs. These dogs all deserve the very best life & not stuffed in a kennel because there are too many!!

I didn’t forget. We were just occupied celebrating the special day. Happy birthday to Maddy & her littermates 1 day too late. If Maddy doesn’t have a ball in her mouth, she can be found swimming or snuggling. I am grateful everyday to be lucky enough to call her mine❤️
