Happy New Year, and Cheers to 2026!

Pic from our July 4th 2025 clutch

I apologize for the lack of posts lately, battling the feelings of burnout can be rough, especially while also keeping up with the care of the animals and pairing up animals early (we skipped brumation this year so why not cohab the pairs in hopes of an early season clutch).

Unfortunately it looks like some pairs are not going to work out, so I'm glad I didn't post all of our plans yet. Stay tuned for updates, including what we have available once the shipping season starts back up again!

2026 Breeding Season: Firecracker x Papaya

Pairing:
Firecracker (ultramel het charcoal, motley OR Stripe, 50% caramel, hypo)
X
Papaya (ultramel het charcoal, motley OR Stripe, 50% caramel, hypo)
Goal: ultramel charcoal, ultra charcoal
Also expect: motleys or stripes, amel, ultra, ultramel, maybe butter/golddust?

This is just one of the awesome pairings we have planned for the 2026 corn snake breeding season. Stay tuned for the rest!

Revisiting this different one πŸ€”

I still think she is buf... what do you think?

The one I'm referring to is more of an Autumn Orange than its Honey and typical red-ish Sunkissed siblings. She looks a lot like her parents did at the same age, who grew up bright vibrant Orange with no real red showing through, though several other siblings have red and one or two are similar to this one...

She's definitely not caramel by the way!

Shipping availability will be limited during this season! Please understand if we decide not to ship, it's for the health of the animals! Some weeks in the winter may have good temperatures for shipping corn snakes, but we will be avoiding extreme cold and the holidays.

And a hand sanitizer bottle I should've moved πŸ™ƒ

Hoping she produces some gorgeous Butters, Butter Tesseras, Caramels, and Caramel Tesseras with Viserion (Butter het Palmetto) this coming year! It will be her first time, so wish her and us luck!

Honey 🍯

Heading to Repticon this weekend!

20251104
0.1 Sunkissed Caramel
66% pos het Cinder, Hypo
Pos het Anery Motley

If I had to *guess* based on appearance, I would say that this one is het Cinder. Since "het Cinder" can be difficult to identify and fairly cryptic, I cannot guarantee that this one carries it. Both parents were het Cinder and produced some shatters in this clutch.

Pairing:
"Comet"
1.0 Sunkissed
Het Cinder, Caramel, Hypo
50% pos het Anery, Motley

"Stardust"
0.1 Sunkissed

Normals can be cool too, right?

While breeders are focused on all the coolest morphs and lineages out there, we can't ignore the fact that most "normie" people (said with love of course!) love the traditional red, orange, and black coloration of the wild type corn snake. Lucky for them, we produce at least a handful of these every year from assorted projects!

Entry level breeders and even more experienced breeders who just appreciate a nice normal fear not! This little guy and his siblings have rockstar genetics... he 100% carries Sunkissed, Anery, Caramel, Hypo, and Amel OR Ultra, and has a 66% chance of carrying Lavender!

He can be the foundation of a very cool project, I definitely recommend pairing him with a female that carries or shows lavender. That way you can prove if he has the gene or not. Or, you can pay $40 to (not including the discounts available through ) and find out with his first shed with you! It's really cool that we are able to do morph testing on corn snakes now.

For those interested, this boy is:

Sire from Lee Abbott, a Salmon Snow Tessera Motley
Unrelated dam, Halo Snow het Motley

Halo is cool, but an incredibly aggressive gene especially since it takes time to show itself. With each clutch I produce, I'm starting to get the hang of catching it earlier and earlier. Many people are breeding lines with halo, so I'm making a point of trying to exclude it from a portion of my pairings. This baby have some really nice contrast between the saddle color and base color, along with a sibling, and I think that's one of the earliest signs of Halo being present. As a result, I'm keeping the coral snow Motley sibling that is not showing Halo traits yet. I already have a nice 3-year-old Coral snow Motley Halo that is totally unrelated, so only non Halo babies will be held back from this clutch.

That means some gorgeous bubblegum colored green and pink snakes will be available for others!

I'm sure some of what I bring to the show will wind up back home with me, but if you see something you just can't let go, send me a message!

Kissed by the sun β˜€οΈ

Preparing for Repticon Bradenton this weekend! This means the snakes coming with us were fed yesterday and won't be fed til after the show. They're ready to go to their new homes though!

That includes this pretty girl! She'll be on our table, and if she winds up coming back home with us, she'll go on Morphmarket!
