We work M-F beginning at 7:30 and stagger coming in. We usually just work every other Saturday again depending on the schedule of what dogs need to be done. Schedule can be somewhat flexible but if you are scheduled we need you here. We go home usually after the last furbaby leaves and we get cleaned for the next day.
Cleaning. We do a lot of cleaning. Some days we move the same things around 3 times to clean. Hair gathers quickly and we must keep a clean environment. Lots of mopping and cleaning kennels.
This is answering phones, checking people out, bathing dogs, scheduling and what ever else comes our way.
Starting pay is $10. As you learn more and can do more we can go up in pay.
This is a great job for anyone that thinks they want to groom, be a vet tech or be in the pet industry in the future. Although we do get to love on the fur babies it is a lot of work as well.
