The Tenacious Terrier will be closed today due to the power outage. If you had an appointment today I will be attempting to contact you via my cell (203-240-1550) to reschedule. Sorry for any inconvenience.

As of Tuesday May 5th we are back to regular hours. Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00-5:00. If you have left a message and have not yet heard from us please be patient, we are returning calls am booking appointments as quickly as possible. If you would like to make an appointment please call the shop at 203-743-1459 and we will add you to the list. If you are coming in for an appointment please alert us upon your arrival and we will come out to retrieve your pet. You will keep your leash and collar.

We will be closed for the next week as well. We will re-evaluate the situation over the next weekend. When we finally are able to open we will be booking appointments first to those clients that already had an appointment booked during our closure, then we will be booking those that have left a message or text, in the order in which they were received. This is truly uncharted territory and we will do our best to get everyone in as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

The Tenacious Terrier will be closing for at least the next two weeks starting at close of business today. While Pet Grooming is still allowed in Connecticut, we feel it’s in the best interest of our clients, our families, and our employees, not to mention our friends and neighbors to do our part in limiting the amount of social interaction we have will each other. You are all in our thoughts and hopefully we will all get through this together. Thank you for your understanding and be well. Ernie

The State of Connecticut has determined that Pet Store and Pet Service businesses are considered essential and are allowed to be open. In light of this we will be open three days per week until further notice. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Regular business hours will remain 8:00 - 5:00. We are implementing curb side drop off and pick up. We ask that you keep your pets leash and collar. If you have any questions or would like to make an appointment please call us at 203-743-1459.
