We need some help.
Say hello to Gigi.
Gigi was a tagalong from a shelter in Texas with a Great Pyrenees named Prancer. We took Prancer because he had a broken leg and no one local had space. Gigi came along because she also has a broken leg. Apparently this transport was a two-for-one orthopedic special.
These two bring our current orthopedic count to eight. That includes:
• Elmo and Everly, both with gunshot wounds and resulting orthopedic damage
• Ansem, broken leg we just amputated
• Mitzi, broken leg
• Brooke, surrendered with two blown ACLs
• Oswald, also with bilateral blown ACLs
You can see the rest of this very expensive crew in the comments.
We have an amazing donor who has just offered to match donations up to $10,000 through December 31, which would cover most of the surgeries for all of these dogs. You all may have noticed that we tend to take in the absolute trainwrecks of the dog world. They are always stupid-level expensive. But then you look at Gigi’s blue-eyed, split-face, possibly-a-chimera little face and honestly tell us you would have said no.
If you can spare $5, it truly adds up. If you can spare more, even better. Either way, you are directly helping dogs who had no other options.

Venmo: (be sure you spell it exactly – there are fakes out there)
Thanks as always. If you donate via Venmo, please make the transaction private and not public. The Nigerian princes are out there scalping your public contact info.
Thank you as always for keeping us in the “yes, we’ll take them” business.
As a PS, for those within reasonable driving distance of Nashville, these guys are all going to need foster homes. If you're interested, email [email protected].
