This will officially be my last post on this page! Before I go, I wanted to give one more reminder that I’ll be taking appointments through Mabel’s Doghouse from now on🤍

I’ll be there Monday and Wednesday, and I’m still offering those special, 1:1 appointments on Mondays only. I know how important a calm environment is for some of my sweet furry friends, and I wanted to make sure that they would still be comfortable if I’m lucky enough to continue being their groomer!

Poppie’s Pooches has come to an end, but I have some good news! I will be continuing my grooming career as a member of the team at mabels_doghouse in Ringgold, Ga.

I’ll be taking appointments there on Mondays and Wednesdays. Mondays will be a great option for my furry friends who still need that calm, one on one experience without the stress of other pups around.

Please keep in mind that because Poppie’s Pooches is dissolving, my current number will NOT be available for booking appointments moving forward. You can visit Mabel’s Doghouse page, or call/text 423-305-4542 to request to be booked with me, Kaitlynn!

This is a hard post to make. After 3 amazing years with some of the best clients (people and dogs) I could ever ask for, Poppie’s Pooches will be closing🖤

2025 was an incredible year in so many ways, but unfortunately, business never fully recovered after I dropped mobile services, and, understandably, fell even further with my maternity leave. Now, with reduced hours and my precious daughter to care for, this dream no longer serves my family well. It’s time to say goodbye.

I’ll be taking appointments on Mondays and Wednesday up until the week of Christmas, with the 23rd being my last day in the salon.

I’m proud of what I built, grateful for the Lord’s provision through it all, and looking forward to whatever comes next. Thank you all for being part of this journey 🤍🤍

Kayleigh and sweet Shelby had a great grooming lesson yesterday!

Kayleigh learned how to bathe, dry, and brush Shelby’s beautiful double coat to keep her feeling her best, and how to shave her paw pads and sanitary areas for comfort and cleanliness. Being an older lady, Shelby has some struggles with fatigue and arthritis, so I made sure to suggest tools and techniques to keep Shelby’s coat and nails in good shape while still catering to those sweet old bones and joints.

I think it’s safe to say Shelby enjoyed her session with her mom! Thank you both for trusting me to teach you 🩷

Hi friends!! I’m coming back on Monday, October 27th with a VERY limited schedule. I have 4 spots available for the 27th! Because there are so few openings, I am requiring a $20 deposit to book those times. This deposit will be credited towards the grooming cost, and is refundable up until 24 hours before the appointment.

The first 4 people who TEXT 7069547852 with their preferred time and send the deposit will be booked! I will do my best to update quickly as the time slots are taken.

I’m not positive when my next day back will be after the 27th, but hope to have updates soon!
