Almost 10 years later, I finally took the time to redo Gambit's portrait. He was sick as I was doing my first commission and died shortly afterward. I worked and reworked his portrait, driving myself crazy. It took a long time to realize it would never be perfect. Much like this little Bart Simpson of a dog. He hated men with white hair, feet, and bicycles, which unfortunately meant wheelchairs as well. Life was often frustrating and ackward with him, but never boring.
