NOTICE:

K9 League and its associates are under severe personal and professional attack by an untrue, intentionally misleading and defamatory post. The post appears to be getting a lot of attention on Facebook, so we wanted to address it here briefly. This matter refers to a 3rd party making wild accusations about a client’s dog, and yet they are unaware of vital information and background which explains the circumstances. Not knowing the full medical history of this dog and the situation at hand, the individual has jumped to conclusions, in a malicious attempt to harm our business. Dogs are our entire life, and we have a combined 40 years working with them professionally. We can assure everyone that there was absolutely no abuse or neglect on our part, nor has there ever been such an accusation in the history of our company. This is a dog which came to us with well documented health issues which had gone on for months, and veterinarian records will back that up. We are currently working with our legal counsel to address the false allegations which have been made against us. These actions will include a Cease & Desist Letter to all slandering parties who are doing this, to have those actions stopped immediately.

We ask that anyone reading this Notice, please stop contributing to these acts, which have now escalated to threats upon our lives. As is often the case with social media, there is a whole other side to this situation, which the public is not aware of. And we are working closely with our attorney to discern how much of the client’s and dog’s history, behavior and training, is appropriate for public comment. At a minimum, we ask that you please wait until the full facts are known, before rushing to judgement.

We also want to thank our clients, colleagues and friends who have risen to support us in this difficult time. Our local canine community knows the high quality work that we are known for and which we will continue to do.

Thank you,
K9 League and Associates

***UPDATE*** 3/13/2021

Law Enforcement Officials as well as investigators from Colin County Animal Control arrived at our facility to investigate the allegations made against us. Officers took video of the entire facility and photographed every dog on our property.
K9 League was told that our facility was very well maintained, very organized and every dog on the property was determined to be in good condition and kept in a clean safe environment. Investigators noted that ALL dogs appear to be happy and engaging, and complimented our staff in regards to the organization and cleanliness of our facility.
These are all things our clients know about us and have an opportunity to see first hand, if they visit during the training.
*** K9 League will do an open records request for copies of the videos and reports made to share them with the public and our clients to see.
