Today is the day!!!

Join us at Hollywood Feed- Lakewood at 7150 Skillman St, Dallas on August 23th from 9am-11am for a fun filled pet photoshoot featuring a ball pit! Interested in making a reservation? Call or stop by HF- Lake Highlands to be added to the signup list!

All proceeds will go to funding Buster's reconstructive jaw surgery caused by a dog attack earlier this year. Compounding on his first injury, his jaw healed incorrectly from his first surgery and he is unable to open his mouth fully, necessitating another. Buster is such a sweet boy and is keeping his spirits high! He continues to search for his forever home, wouldnt it be great if he got to go once he was fully healed?

Buster is an absolutely adorable pup! Buster is a bundle of energy. He's always up for a game of fetch, chasing toys, running around with his foster siblings, and exploring his surroundings with enthusiasm. His playful spirit is infectious.

He is incredibly affectionate. He loves cuddle sessions and will melt your heart with his puppy kisses. He's quick to form strong bonds with his humans. Buster is a smart pup. He's at that perfect age for training, and he's eager to learn new tricks and commands. His intelligence and willingness to please make him a joy to train.

Kittens galore!

Right now there are SIX kittens searching for their forever homes with Abandoned Pet Project. Obi, Han, Ren and Ani are adorable little nuggets of orange fluff, under 2 months old! They are delicate babies looking for a home that will help teach them how to be a cat and forgive them while they are learning what a scratching post is. Happy National Black Cat Day!
Did you know black cats are often the last to be adopted? Today, we're celebrating these beautiful, intelligent felines and highlighting one of our very own, the charming Buster Keaton!

Named after the legendary silent film actor, this black and white tuxedo kitten is a true star. Just like his namesake, Buster has a playful and adventurous spirit, always ready to explore and entertain. With his striking coat and endearing antics, he's a joy to be around.

Buster gets along great with other cats and is even friends with the dogs in his foster home. He's full of energy and curiosity, but also loves to find a spot right next to you for a nap. His purr motor is strong, and he’ll even groom his human friends as he settles in.

You truly have to meet this sweet boy to see how wonderful he is!

Bernie is still looking for her FURever home!

Bernie was rescued by an amazing foster after she found herself as a stray at the local shelter. She came to us with heartworm and an intense skin infection, both of which she has received top-notch medical care for. Bernie has never let this little bump in the road stop her from enjoying her newfound freedom.
Bernie is an active girl who loves to go on walks and play with any toy in sight! When it is time to relax for the day, you can find Bernie cuddled up next to her humans begging for belly rubs, or chewing on a bone. She will thank you with a big smile and unwavering loyalty! She takes weekly outings in public, rides great in a car, and is doing great socializing and working on a leash.

What a paws-itively purr-fect family! Meet Lucia, the supermomma cat, and her two sweet daughters, Ravioli and Ziti. This little family is a testament to love and resilience, and they are celebrating National Son and Daughter Day with a special wish: to find their forever homes!

Their brother, Rigatoni, has already found his perfect family, and now Ravioli and Ziti want to follow in his paw-prints! We want nothing more than to see these beautiful girls get the chance to grow up in a loving home of their own.
