Are we making progress with our breeding program to improve type with each generation?

Row 1 - first gen pairing
Row 2 - their son paired w/ a tort doe
Row 3- their daughter paired w/ an opal buck

Rocky (DTL lines) x Diva (Cross Creek & Bastet lines)

Genetics: AaBBCchdDDEe
-Carries chin, non-extension, & self

Best traits:
-Great head, ear, chest
-Natural poser
-Perfect Crown: Ears arent slipped
-All around decent width
-Friendly, likes to be picked-up & held

Faults: little long in the body

We have babies!!! 🎉🎉

A chestnut doe and a black buck out of DHL’s “Rocky” x Loppy Ear’s “Diva”.

We were hoping for some orange babies but apparently our chin buck doesn’t carry the non-extension gene like we had thought.

Just hoping this pairing produces as good of quality rabbits as it did last time. 🤞
