One day till Halloween. If you’re still in need of pumpkins or just a fun family activity come stop by On The Edge Farm. Open until 5pm today, and it opens tomorrow at 10:30am. Come visit the animals, there’s bounce houses for the kids, drinks and snacks for sale. And of course plenty of pumpkins in all shapes, sizes, and colors.

I spent my 4th of July weekend taking care of these cute little babies. Some of them are looking for homes, they are 10 week old kune kune pigs, theres are females and males available (all males have been castrated). If you or anyone you know is interested please let me know and I can get you in contact with the owner.

Summer Update:

Due to a new summer work schedule and multiple booking that are already in place through the month of September I won’t be accepting any new client in home stays, I will be a little particular about in home stays with returning clients. I will still do drop by visits with new clients, depending on the client and frequency of drop ins needed. As always returning clients have first access to openings in my schedule. If you are already on the books for this summer your reservation is booked and you will be receiving a confirmation from me a few weeks prior to your booking. I hope everyone has a great summer and if anyone has any questions please reach out.

A client said goodbye to one of their dogs today. He lived a beautiful life of over 13 years after being rescued from Texas. Such a sweet boy. Rest in peace.

It’s been a busy week and a half. From the 10th to today the 21st I took care of 4 different sets of clients. 1 client is a long time repeat client who we took care of two separate times during this period. 1 is another long time client. 1 first time returning client. And 1 brand new client. It made for a very busy week and a half but I made it work. Stacking clients is somewhat easy for me depending on the animals schedules. I will stack repeat clients as I already know their routines. I hope everyone is having a good week. Safe travels to all the owners coming home.

Something very neat that I had no clue existed. It’s called sniff spot and it’s private dog parks, beaches, and indoor spaces that are mostly fully fenced in. You can rent them out by the hour and many of the places offer discounts for multiple dogs. The Mo team will be going to one tomorrow that has 20 fully fenced acres or area that even has a lake for in the summer. Im super excited to try this out as I prefer not to go to the local dog park as ive had issues there in the past.

A client and good family friend said goodbye to her horse this morning. A horse I have taken care of more times then we can count along with all her barn mates. She had such a great personality in so many different ways. The family had her for 29 of her 31 beautiful years of life. She was a rodeo horse for numerous kids in the family and extended family. Run free sweet girl.

It’s been a busy holiday season. Between thanksgiving and Christmas I spent about 2 weeks with the two dogs in the picture, they were super sweet. I did an overnight stay with a dog and cat. And this weekend im watching 2 black labs. Ive also gone and taken care of our standing client cats 3 different times, I love going to check on them. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

A client had to say goodbye to another one of their miniature horses. She lived to be almost 30 years old. Such a sweet and very loved girl. My heart is with her family. Run free sweet girl.
