I am deeply touched by your kindness and honored to see his legacy continue through your thoughtful words and generosity. You have touched my heart. I am forever grateful as are the dogs, pups and the amazing staff and volunteers at TBC Animal Rescue. Our goal will be continue Allan's passion of saving hungry and homeless dogs and pups and finding homes for the ones already in our care. We know he will be watching and cheering us on!

💛🐾 In Loving Memory of Our Founder, Allan Cadis 🐾💛

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved founder, Allan Cadis. Allan peacefully left this world on September 14, 2025 at the age of 77. Many knew him simply as “The Dog Man.”

In 2003, Allan followed his heart and founded Texas Best Choices Animal Rescue with his wife Karen, giving thousands of homeless animals a safe haven and a second chance. His compassion, vision, and tireless work will forever be the foundation of our mission.

A Celebration of Life will be announced soon. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Texas Best Choices Animal Rescue at www.tbcanimalrescue.com

Though Allan may be gone, his spirit will continue to guide us as we carry forward his mission to give hope, love, and second chances. 💛🐾 He will live on in every life saved.
