✨ Happy Friday from Be Still Dog Training ✨

As the week comes to a close, remember this:

🐾 Your dog doesn’t need a perfect owner.
🐾 Your family doesn’t need a perfect life.
🐾 You don’t need a perfect plan.

You just need to keep showing up with patience, consistency, and faith.

At Be Still Dog Training, we’ve seen fearful dogs become confident, reactive dogs find peace, and overwhelmed owners discover hope again. Not because of perfection—but because they refused to give up.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

As you head into the weekend, take a moment to slow down, breathe, and appreciate the blessings around you—both the two-legged and four-legged ones. ❤️🐶

Someone needs this today- Happy Thursday

Real wisdom starts when you respect God and take Him seriously.
Not fear like being terrified, but understanding that His ways matter and wanting to live according to them.

Wisdom doesn’t come from age, money, or popularity. It comes from trusting God and letting Him guide your decisions.

Choosing friends wisely.
Relationships and dating.
Integrity when nobody sees.
Self-control.
Not following every trend.
Living with purpose instead of chasing attention.

Two people can both be smart and successful, but the one who seeks God’s direction will usually walk with more peace, humility, and discernment.

Wisdom is more than intelligence.
Understanding life starts with understanding who God is.

It’s less about religion and more about the foundation you build your life on.

Be Still and know

Meet Bella. I haven’t seen her in almost 7 years, and today I get to pick her up. We’ll be working on some crate anxiety, but more importantly, I get to spend the next 24 hours with her. I’m so happy to see her again.

As many of you know, I don’t move through life without Christ. Spending time with these dogs is part of my worship. It’s a way for me to praise the Lord, find peace, and prepare myself to face the world each day.

If you don’t know Jesus, I encourage you to take some time and ask Him to come into your heart and reveal Himself to you. Let Him fill the empty places inside. I’ve had plenty of broken places in my own life, but Jesus came to heal the hurting, restore the lost, and fill those voids with His love and peace.

God bless you all. Have a great day, and Happy Wednesday everyone!

People see dogs playing in the pool… 💦🐕

We see:
✔️ Confidence building
✔️ Socialization
✔️ Impulse control
✔️ Healthy engagement
✔️ Dogs learning how to exist calmly around other dogs

Good training isn’t just obedience.
It’s teaching dogs HOW to think.

A dog that can play, disengage, listen, and stay mentally balanced in exciting environments is a completely different dog at home.

Training should create freedom.
Not fear.
Not shutdown.
Not chaos.

Just balanced dogs learning how to live in the human world. ❤️

And yes…
sometimes that learning includes pool parties. 😂☀️

As my son, Frank Jr., starts his day earlier than most, when he text early to ask for prayers we know he needs to be ready for what his about to encounter spiritually and mentally he shared with us that his very first call this morning was not a pleasant one. Before heading out, he asked us to pray. So we did

It made me stop and reflect and shed tears. So often we become overwhelmed by the challenges in our own lives, yet there are people around us carrying burdens that are far heavier than we can imagine. Some are fighting battles in silence. Some are struggling just to make it through another day.

Today, I am reminded to be grateful. I have people I can talk to, a partner with whom I can share my heart, and most importantly, I am anchored in my Savior, Jesus Christ, who brings peace in the middle of life’s storms.

If you’re reading this today, I want you to know something:

You are loved.
You are valued.
You are appreciated.
You were created with purpose.

Whatever you’re facing right now, don’t believe the lie that you’re alone or that your life doesn’t matter. You do belong. There is hope beyond your pain, even when you cannot see it. Your story is not over.

“The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.” Psalm 34:18

Please reach out to someone you trust. Talk to a friend, family member, pastor, counselor, or anyone willing to listen. There is strength in asking for help.

💙 If you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of su***de or emotional distress, call or text 988 (Su***de & Crisis Lifeline) anytime, 24 hours a day. Help is available, and you do not have to face this alone.

Praying for all first responders, law enforcement officers, dispatchers, medical personnel, and the families they serve today. 🙏❤️

Happy Friday! Be Still Family

Here’s a reminder this morning: I have slithered with the snakes, soared with the eagles, and walked through everything in between. I searched for self-gratification, success, approval, and the things this world promised would satisfy. Yet every road eventually led me to the same truth.

Money comes and goes.
People come and go.
Feelings rise and fall.

But through every victory, every failure, every lesson, and every storm, there has been One constant.

The reason I’m still standing.
The reason I still have hope.
The reason I keep moving forward.

Christ….

This morning I had to go order a carburetor for my riding lawn mower because I left it out in the rain for an entire week. Yep… I know, I know. Bad boy. 😂

After ordering the part, I decided to stop by a little coffee cart I’ve been seeing around town for the last three months. Every time I drove by, I was intrigued but never stopped. Today was the day.

When I walked up, I asked the owner if she could make one of those little foam hearts you see all over TikTok. She laughed and said, “Yes, I can do that.” I told her I was just joking and that she didn’t have to, but I did want something with the foam on top. Sure enough, she delivered!

She was very friendly, and I learned that she and her husband own the business. We talked for a bit, and I asked if it would be okay to share their coffee cart on Facebook because I enjoy supporting small businesses. She graciously said yes.

So here we are.

If you’re in the Dallas, Georgia area, go check out Decker Coffee. Grab a cup of coffee, say hello, and support a local small business. The coffee was great, and the conversation was even better.

Let’s continue supporting the people who are investing in our communities and chasing their dreams.

God bless you all. Decker Coffee

Some people see a “small dog.”

We see a dog asking for leadership.
Meet Papi
He needs guidance.
Rules.
Boundaries.
Structure.

What does that look like?
🐾 Waiting for food instead of demanding it.
🐾 Waiting at the door instead of rushing through it.
🐾 Going to place and learning how to relax.
🐾 Walking calmly beside the human instead of dragging them through life.

Because the walk is EVERYTHING.

A proper walk isn’t just exercise.
It’s foundational work.
It fulfills dogs psychologically AND physically.

This is how dogs become calmer.
More confident.
More stable.
More fulfilled.

At Be Still Dog Training, we help dogs learn how to coexist with humans in a healthy, balanced way through communication, structure, accountability, and trust.

Small dogs included. ❤️
